GUI Replacement

Post by bob27 »

I was wondering do the windows, cursors, menus, etc. need to be replaced along with the other graphic replacements?
I'm just assuming they do because they are the same as in TTO.

If we need to redraw new GUI, I will post some possible styles.

EDIT: Ok sorry I'm an idiot! I just found the newGUI grfs! My bad!

The GUI windows are drawn by engine, but all the sprites used there are indeed sprites in trg1r.grf/openttdw.grf (and resp. DOS files)
PS: And I stopped the propaganda to support Dave Worley since he got a nice new red hat now.[/color]
I know I have a BBCode error in my signature but I really cba to fix it.

I have a question about the OpenGFX_-_newGUI_v0.4.grf. When I use it, the original waypoint is replaced with a new one and it looks funky for some reason. Even in the window to choose the diferent waypoints it looks messed up.

Is there a way to use the new GUI and have the original waypoint? I attatched a couple screenshots to show what it looks like. Is there a problem with the grf or is it iwth my cpomputer?

That's because it's misaligned; there's no problem with your computer. The issue is fixed in the latest release of OpenGFX, which you can find here: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=40162. Please note that you'll need a recent nightly to be able to use the recent OpenGFX releases.
