I was not going to do any more to Farm Objects. But today I thought of a idea and wondered if I change some coding but kept the IDs same can I change some of the crops into multi select sets.
See if I can improve crops you might already have planted.

I changed the coding to these so they have a random selection so some will have people and tractors as well.
This how your crops might appear with the changes I made.

Possible you might need to do some re-planting. So for safety make a back up of your saved game before try these.
If you happy with these and had to replant some of your crops .. let me know and I see if I can improve things with some of the other crops.

Hope rest of week work on my railway station sets.

Been asked to make some farm fields as objects to what is use in default game. I put them in AuzLandscapeObjects .. but wonder maybe make a AuzFarmObjectsAddOns and place them in that as no room in AuzFarmObjects.

Working on a loco depot .. it something I started a few years ago and got side tracked. Based on the Modular Locomotive Depot set by Ericson from 2010. But I removing the doors and putting locos in side and also placing some locos on the tracks. I make it as a add on to what Ericson did so can be used together for now for the practise and maybe make my own set later.

I like to be able to make both roundhouses in this image but not be easy as the shed on left has 42 roads. 21 of them in the shed.
Also has a large turntable to turn garrets. Using the big turntable I can do 32 roads on a 7x7 display from it. Hard part designing the roundhouse bays to fit. Shall keep experimenting,

Hope first to do add-ons to Ericsons set for practice.

Tell you more as I make progress

The roundhouse I would love to design is the one at Broadmeadow, New South Wales, Australia .. near Newcastle. It has 2 roundhouses. I worked their from August 1970 for 12 months before transferring over to the railway station.
This is the community centre I am referring to, built in a former railway roundhouse. https://www.roundhouse.ca/ Its preserved turntable is static, and the space is now used as a plaza.

Nice what they done to the roundhouse .. unfortunately in Australia when something closes they do nothing about it for years to give the vandals and graffiti artists plenty time to vandalize it then say it cost to much to repair so they demolish it.

I'm a bit slow working on the projects and the round house due to health problems I having .. hope get it finished eventually.
Only done 5 or the 16 sections so far. These 5 still some work to the roof and want to add some doors for the workers to enter the buildings.

I see this months screenshot competition theme is SUMMER HOLIDAYS and it reminded me of a few objects I did several months ago that those who will be entering the competition might like to use.

There is 4 camp fires and 4 tents which are a bit larger then previous tents in the set.
Just be careful with one of the camp fires. Keep it away from trees as they put to much wood on the fire and the flames are fairly high.

Do you use Fridaemon's Objects?

For some reason those Farm Fields also my AuzRailObjects, Clouds, and some of my culverts are mixed in with that set.

Wonder if any one else having similar problem? I have his set on bottom of my list, but it loads at the top. :roll:

Been checking some ID's in my codings and have found I have same "Class:" and "Classnames:" in several object sets.

Been making so many silly mistakes the past 12 months or more that I feel my coding days are coming to a end and feel like throwing in the towel.

This might not be your fault. Yesterday I was testing a (very long) list of NewGRFs, with many object sets, and found out that some of those objects get loaded in the first menu of the objects (example in the image bellow). After doing a little counting, I figured out that the amount of menus the object selection screen is capable to show is 255, when that limit is exceeded the rest of the objects get loaded in another menu (for me it was always the first one). I don't know if this is a bug or a known limitation.

Maybe this is where Fredinho's missing objects are?

I've only got 49 items in my Active NewGRF files. And getting this problem as some items loading at the top instead of loaded in their correct place.
So got some experimenting to do.

EDIT:
I tried just my objects sets .. removed everything else and left towns, industries etc as default and I still get the conflict.

What ever is my last object it goes to the top and has some other objects pieces mixed with it. No idea why.

No it not your set causing the problem.
No matter what order I put my objects the last one ends up at the top and with some objects from other sets.
I feel it something I did in some updates to one of the sets interfering with the others.

I think I narrowed the problem .. if I remove the AuzFarmObjects the problem stops. So I think I added something in AuzFarmObjects that is causing the problem. Hope over the weekend I might find what the problem is.

The server I play on has a huge amount of object NewGRFs, and this is a constant struggle. There's an object category limit, and everything loaded at the end will be chucked together in the topmost category. This is known behaviour, and has nothing to do with any specific newGRF.

I think the latest version of JGR has an increased limit, but I'm not sure.

Thank you for the information .. we learn every day.

I have 24 objects to load and get that problem .. and if I remove any one of them I don't have that problem.

So those who have lots of object sets loaded .. check the top one as it most likely got objects from other sets in it.

It does as far as I remember,
Used to be a massive problem on an old server I used to play on where City Objects, Fake airports, and a few more were all shoved into one category.

DemianWSE and I still fiddling with the Waypoint and Object Bridges.

Yesterday and one day last week I went train riding and inspecting Girder Bridges for both single and double lines. All the bridges I looked at have lattice struts so I had a go making some like that.
This were I up to with them. A sample of the struts shown on there own with the bridges.

It a slow process as I having problems with my right eye .. will get them done eventually.
