Subject: Vehicle Factories

Made some multi tile Ford Vehicle Factory pieces. Based on the Ford Factory in Broadmeadows, Victoria, Australia.
Matter of testing now and see if I need to add any other style to the Ford Factory, especially along the front area where there is paving and lawns.
Once I get these how want, will work on other Vehicle factories such as Holden and maybe some others.

Subject: Vehicle Factory

I made some multi tile Holden Factory pieces.
These are based on one of their buildings in Adelaide Suburb called Elizabeth, South Australia.

Changelog:
Added "Holden Vehicle Factory (6)" .. the 6 means there is up to 6 multi select tiles.
Added some more pathways, flowers and lawns.

Wonder after I did the test graphics maybe I should have made the same pathway types used in my Parks and the gardens that are used in AuzTownObjects. This way they could be used together?

When looking at vehicle factories with google earth and what images I can find on the internet they are huge(very big) with many buildings and they only seem to have the one building that stands out from the rest and has their logo on them .. so that the building I try and base my work on.

Much appreciation goes to those who drew the new cars, the fork lifts and the cargo icons.

Been looking at car assembly areas for different companies and I think these can be added to what I done. They should suit all Car Factories.

These have to types of roofs and face South West ad also South East directions.

The building walls I stole from FIRS Industries

I will not be doing any more to the vehicle factories for awhile as I want to concentrate on my train sets with some more freight wagons.

Subject: Farm Objects (Sugarcane)

Working on my AuzFarmIndustry set and different types of farms found here in Australia.

Make the farms more realistic and fun to add to I seeing if I can improve on the crops graphics.

Sugar Cane and corn are taller then a man, and the crops I made previous are really a bit short.

So having a go at making sugar cane taller and this the result so far. Two views of same crop. Full zoom and default zoom.

I use your farm objects, so I'm really glad, that there are much more options for that.


Anyway, I'd like to ask you for 1 favour - As you can see below, there are lamps with fences as objects.


SAC released them decade ago, but it's terrible to use it. So I edited them for myself and It's slope aware. But because of license, I can't publish that. So I asked Ufiby for permission for using his lamps (he agreed).

Stone fence is welcome. And with this sandstone it would be perfect and usuable

I started workin' on them, but it's all your fences and I have no idea where I can publish it in my FO set. (and now I have no time for that, because I'm drawing new buildings )

I need to stop getting side tracked and finish some of the projects that I started many moons ago. I'll put the train set and Industry set aside for a while and try to finish off some of the object projects I started.

Strange as it may sound I actually forgot that I was doing the crash barriers along side the roads So starting today see if I can continue with them and see if can add some street lighting as well.

The lamps along the roads should work well. Maybe can make different lamp types. If you have some street lights in your area you like .. take a photo of them and upload here and see if we can make some of those. I will do same here. There is a freeway within walking distance from where I live. I see if I can get photos of those without getting run over.

These ones I made myself many years ago for railway stations and car parks. By lengthening the poles some can be used for roads as well.

Subject: Crash Barriers

I made some slope aware crash barriers. I need to get these working properly before I can add lighting and road signs.
This image is a sample what can be done so far with slope aware straight and corner pieces. Need to experiment see if I can make the crash barriers curved where the road corners are. There are some test samples in the grf file but running out of time today due to house chores needing to be done.

That way you dont use the tiles at the side of the roads...

I dont think so if your work starts out from scratch (so taking that photo as the base, not the work that has already been done for OpenTTD)
If you really want to be sure (and for future reference), just put it somewhere in your (do-not)ReadMe file that you are aware that someone has already done something similar for OpenTTD, but that your work is not based on that but on the photo's you made (and link to a post here in the forum to those photos).

In that forum will be eyecandy objects for roads.

Thanks to Quast65 providing me with the sauce been able to create a set of crash barriers that replace tram tracks and tram overheads and can be used on any road.
Can be used with my RattRoad Sets to also include the fences.

Been asked if I can do a flour wind mill object. So I transferred the flour mill from FIRS 1.4.3. Also had a try at making a water wheel flour mill. Image below, and also some more green houses .. these ones have flowers in them.

Updated the graphics with the green houses. Cleaned the glass so you can see what inside them.

Also made a green house with tomatoes.

The tulip farms in some countries look really nice so made some of those as well.

Made a few alterations to the flowers .. removed the gap at end of the tiles so now get this effect. Also added a few more.
