[OTTD] Saibot's and Chrill's Screenshots
Starting in the 1940s or 1930s, not sure, we ran with some DBset, some cool stations, etc.
Pic Descriptions:
Pic 1: The "big" lumbermill, where we have an average of 600 tonnes per month, of goods produced.
Pic 2: Saibot had some fun building this Oil Island. 360 goods last month
Pic 3: This is where our goods from the lumber mill ends up. Quite recently, it got a bus service

Re: [OTTD] Saibot's and Chrill's Screenshots
Nice screens!
A bit of advice:
You only need to define the direction of one-way track at junctions, not along the whole stretch of the road. Saves a lot of clicks.

Re: [OTTD] Saibot's and Chrill's Screenshots
Afaik we can drag those arrows... at least in Patch. Not sure is this possible in OpenTTD. But that advice is good. Less arrows means less varicolored picture on Your desktop!FooBar wrote:Nice screens!

Re: [OTTD] Saibot's and Chrill's Screenshots
I just tried and dragging works also in OTTD. So the only reason not to drag is that it looks better, it doesn't save any clicks at all
Re: [OTTD] Saibot's and Chrill's Screenshots
Also, when only clicking at the junctions, the town (or AI) could build things anywhere along it to interrupt it.FooBar wrote:You only need to define the direction of one-way track at junctions, not along the whole stretch of the road. Saves a lot of clicks.
Re: [OTTD] Saibot's and Chrill's Screenshots
I guess I was bored, but anyway: here are some pictures I took of mine and Chrill's current game.
More to come later.

Re: [OTTD] Saibot's and Chrill's Screenshots
Quite some time ago, back in OpenTTD 0.4.5, me and Chrill played a slightly modified version of the Africa and Middle-east scenario. And as of the past weekend, we've brought that to life again, using the current ChrisIN.

Mountain Towns and Infrastructure:
The small town of Grafield, but with a lot of trains zooming past, and a massive bridge to the west: The small cute town of Drudingworth, a ski resort on the top of a fairly high mountain outside Benley Market: Some zig-zagging down to Plinfield. In the picture, you can see a Volvo 9700, and the rails leading to Grafield, through the tunnel:

Last series of pics; The Leftovers!
The cozy town of Fradborough Bay, served only by the Mercedes Turismo you see in the picture and a Neoplan Jumbocruiser, located at the end of the E18: (Other end is located in a town just outside Grafield) This game lacks farms, pretty much. I had to take drastic measures, and put up a Food Plane service from across the map, in order to keep the cities served: The once silent town of Plinnbridge is the town receiving food from the airport shown in the previous picture:
