The ETR.340 is a FLIRT, not a GTW, so it would require a completely new 3D model. It looks similar, but there's too many differencies to create it out of the GTW model unfortunately. Maybe at a later point once I have all the GTWs done...

Eleven people died and dozens were injured when a northern Italian local train derailed near the borders with Austria and Switzerland on Monday morning

But what bothers me is whether to have the bogeypos higher or not. The trains of course clip in the curves, just like my other GTWs. I've checked IA's version and it has the parts quite spread out to reduce clipping. However, on a straight piece of track it looks very disconnected. What do people prefer - less flicker in the curves or proper distance between parts?

I would really prefer proper distance between parts. The flicker in your latest version doesn't bother me much, hard to see imo.

And my last update for this year - GTW Generation 2+ v2.0. Includes all the possible GTWs I could find, from 3 to 6-part trains, DMUs and EMUs.

An update for this pack, scheduled for this year probably. Fixed the 4-part GTW coupling problems btw.

I downloaded the 2.1 version of the GTW's. And I must say they look very nice. And there are no gap problems except when you couple a 3-part and a 4-part unit together, then the gap in de 4-part unit is back. Is there a solution for?

I'll have a look at the code once I'm back from holidays. Thanks for pointing it out.

I managed to have the 3-part and 4-part units couple properly together, but only if the first train bought is the 3-part unit.

Locomotion seems to hate asymmetric trains. For instance, the 4-part units can't drive back, but have to reverse, otherwise they break.

Also, I can't seem to have the italian double 6-part units couple properly with the 3-part ones... :(

Just had to share this bit of news I've come across on a railway forum. This is how the 2004-built GTWs for the greek OSE look like after 7 years of service:

If the rest of their country functions like this, it's no wonder they're in trouble.
