[RELEASE] European Plane Pack v3.4

Post by strongbow »

Damage has made a very nice looking model of the Tupolev Tu-154 medium-range aircraft for the Soviet/Russian pack and allowed me to create additional liveries for it. The first version includes the vintage Aeroflot and Czechoslovak Airlines (CSA) colours. As far as I know, these should be the first airline-branded aircraft for Locomotion. :)

For version 2.0, I renamed the pack and added the Airbus A320 in Czech Airlines, British Airways, Lufthansa and Aeroflot liveries.

In the third version you can find the Tu-104, the second commercial jet airliner in the world (and the first relatively safe one) in two Aeroflot and two CSA liveries. Hodkowicz contributed the new CSA colors of the A320 and the original British Airways livery. To top it off, there's 2 more Aeroflot, 2 more CSA and an Interflug livery for Damage's Tu-154 model from him. My biggest thanks to both of you guys!

In 3.1, the eye-catching A320 in Lufthansa's retro livery added.
in 3.2, the modern Aeroflot livery was updated.

There's 6 new A320 liveries in version 3.3 - CSA Holidays, Swissair and Swiss by myself and Air France, TAP Portugal and Alitalia by Hodkowicz.

Four new A320 liveries in 3.4 - the new Alitalia, old TAP Air Portugal and two for Air France, new and retrojet from 2008.

VERY NICE! SB. I've not been much with airplanes, so far. But they're catching my interest now. Thanks for this.
Take a look at the trains, planes, buses, trams and ships at

Depends if I get my hands on another model. Currently I'm working on buildings (narrow gauge station and beach hotel industry), maybe after I finish them. Damage also said something about creating more airplane models, so let's just see.

I do that for every release.

BTW, please don't forget that this is 80% the work of Damage, I just did the materials and textures. Hopefully there'll be more coproductions with other Loco modders, unfortunately SQ uses Cinema 4D, so that would be a bit harder. And he's extremely self-sufficient anyway. :D

why harder? there´s always FBX. oh i have a friend with max, too :D  (now i did let google translate self-sufficient lol)

both of you did a great job. it´s always good to form a team. one is good in modeling, another is good in texturing. so both sides can be highly professionell.
i did all models/renderings/textures myself. no conversions.

seelenquell.pytalhost.com has been reactivated from 16/07/28 till 18/05/31.. now it´s deactivated. at least there..

lol. i had to transfer some character animation at work from maya to max. biiig trouble. :D but for simple loco-models, it might work.

Well if you need any help with an interesting project, I'll be happy to contribute. That's the way it works in many communities, although other communities wouldn't survive without teams as games tend to be more and more detailed and need more time spent on modifications. That's why I love the simplicity of Loco.

sorry for this offtopic..

i once had the maya-PLE. after 10 minutes i uninstalled. i couldn´t get a simple material on a cube. no no. i like it more to study my profilemaker to get real colors out of my 30"-inkjet-printer at work lol.. oh i like my eyeone..

i made a roof for another czech car on the fanpage.. now with prozedural maps. no bitmaps. slowly i´m getting behind the texturing. :D

maya sucks honestly. it's got so many bugs and glitches it's not even funny. and the UI looks like from some cheap shareware program. i understand people can do amazing stuff with it, but they spend 25% of their working time solving problems. :?

Yes, well to agree about scales of new planes now while it is not a lot of them that there was a real difference between their sizes in game

I'd like to do a A320 pack with BA, Lufthansa, CSA and Air France liveries later on. But first I need to finish some buildings...

Did you made them by hand or did you convert them from Flighsimulator?
