Re: Download counters are broken
Um, it was planetmaker that asked for it to be increased.
But the new limit applies to everyone. Not that you should abuse it, do note.

Re: Download counters are broken
I still get this error, (The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 4 MiB.), I was wondering if anyone else got it.
Re: Download counters are broken
Why'd you be uploading something in that size anyway? If you want to share something which takes up a lot of disk space, try finding an alternate host for the files
My Scenarios:
Archipiélago Hermoso (Latest Release: Version 3.2)
Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)
Re: Download counters are broken
It was a binary which was 5MiB. If you look at the previous post of the conversation at the attachments topic which I linked to, you will see planetmaker's explanation.Chrill wrote:Why'd you be uploading something in that size anyway? Re: Download counters are broken
Well, next time, please be more clear. And I'm not sure why it's not working... all the limits that should be set to 6MB do seem to be set to 6MB, so, I'm not sure. I'll have a poke around later.
Re: Dark link in Attachment Box (winter skin)
I forgot which thread had it in, so since this one deals with attachments, I'm putting it here.
Are you sure you upped the upload limit? I just tried to upload a 4.1 MiB file (A zipped precompiled bundle of the new version of my patchpack) and it told me the limit is still 4 MiB.

Re: Download counters are broken
The limit is definitely set to 6MB. The PHP limit is set to 6MB, with the post_max_size being slightly larger. But apparently some part of the architecture doesn't seem to like files greater than 4MB. Not sure there's a lot I can do about that just now, to be honest.

Back on topic:
download counters seem to be working again now, did you do anything?
EDIT: actually scratch that, their still not working, but i'm sure i saw them working somewhere.

Re: Download counters are broken
As I mentioned, download counters *do* work for anything that isn't an image. phpBB intentionally broke image counters to a certain degree, although I don't think they meant to break them as much as they did.
