Did you read the ISR readme file? The operation of the buffers is described there. ;)

Nopes, I didn't, as nothing seemed unclear to me.

It is indeed something you need to know, but it is quite common nowadays. I think the dutch stations was the second set with the feature (I didn't come up with it myself IIRC, I made my own code though). The buffers need a bit of revision anyway as my code has some bugs, maybe the sprites can be redrawn so they show that the buffers auto-align.

On the topic of redrawing: all sprites need to be looked at as not all platforms have the same shade. I don't know if this has always been like this or if it is caused by me running palconvert over the files because there were also some action colors in the platforms. This is more of a long term project and isn't needed soon.

Yes, I think your right, you certainly did it before I added the feature to ISR. I also copied the feature but also wrote my own code. ;)

Could it be it's just the empty platforms having another shade?
Btw, could you also take a look at the overpass, so one can choose the direction for a single one (and connect two adjacent ones

It happens with loads of platforms, I think there is some older version of the platform and a newer one. Everything just needs to be checked and the action colors should be removed to as I don't like it that I have to run palconvert all the time.

I will look into it when I get back to nfo, I got loads of other stuff to do ATM.

If you got a list of platforms which are dark and light, that'd be nice. If I'll get the sprites from your decoded GRF, action colors are gone, aren't they?

The action colors are indeed gone in the newgrf.

I guess it will require a lot of experimenting to find out which platform is dark and which is light. Maybe it is more useful if you would just redraw most of them. I think most of the older (read: first 10-15 tiles coded) are the light ones.

While I am a "nub" at this, I think it's really as simple as: Build all elements next/close to eachother and try to spot it by eye.
It's a catch it as you see it thing, non?

may i request a stationtile?

normal platform (or something) on the top, and with a underground tunnel in the side, so one can walk into the tunnel, and then come up from a underpass-staircase :)

In the weekend of 10/11 October, I'll update the Dutch Sets Website. Along with this, I'll implement a Bugtracker.

Also, is there any progress in debugging this set?

New Download Locations!
I've updated the Dutch Sets Website today, which means my previously posted links are now broken. So here are the new links:

[EDIT]31-10-2008, 19:10 GMT+1
I've got a major bug about the website posted to the bugtracker:
It's about the Download Counter. It increments each time you visit the Credits Page (and actually start the download), while it should count only when the file is actually downloaded, and not when the Download is cancelled.

Somebody got an idea? Please post them at the Bugtracker.

Bug fixed.

I know I should try to use the system, but as far as I can tell, that makes twice that I mistype my email address and I always have had horrible luck with these [insert expletives of choice here] email-only registration systems.

1) Building a 2x2 or bigger bare platform of either normal or electric railway crashes TTDPatch. I'm not clear which nightly I was using at the time (from sometime in October), so I went and downloaded the latest (r2070), and it still occurs with all other grfs off. Building a non-track platform larger than 2x2 will also result in a crash.

I got several mails of the system, indicating two users registered from your IP: circeus and circe-us. Only the first one might have a valid e-mailaddress (starting with circee@[blahblah]). Is this your valid E-mail, or is it safe for me to remove both users? The latter one has got an invalid domain, so will be removed after all.
I repaired the e-mail address and sent you a mail to confirm your E-mail address. Please reply the mail with subject '[Dutch Sets Bugtracker] Account Confirmation'. I will reset the password after receiving a confirmation.

The TTDPatch-generated crashlog would probably be useful here.

Well, not here-here, but in the appropriate forum section-here -- GRFs, as a general rule, are not allowed to make TTDPatch crash.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
