Thanks, Men

Dear TTD Members;

Thanks, Men for the kind and encouraging comments. We do have such unity and a heck
of a lot of fun, just caring and sharing ideas, such as Mr. Krtaylor's idea for Christmas. :)

Download Quick Note

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear TT-Forums Members;

Just a quick update on the total number of scenario downloads, since this is my
2nd year anniversary with TT-Forums.net, though I joined in April 2003,
my first post was Nov. 30, 2003.

Anyway, the total of Scenario Downloads from TT-Forums is 7,154.
The total of Scenario Downloads from http://www.as-st.com/ttd/newusa is 5,066.
The total of Scenario Downloads from ttdrussia.net is 566
Making the Grand Total of Scenario Downloads - 12,786.
Or about 18 Downloads per day from these 3 sources alone! That's real encouraging for
me to continue to make more scenarios.............., which I shall as soon as I get moved. :wink:

Wow! It is so optimistic to think that the PTTD world is so very large! We only see a small percentage of people posting here, but there must be many many many more all over the world.

So right. I was lurking here for months before I finally decided to register. There are probably lots of lurkers here still.

Happy Forum-birthday Jim, and congratulations on those scenario numbers.

They don't shock me though, as you are the scenario king :)).

Hey, happy 2-year anniversary there.
2 years of AWESOME maps!
On an interesting incidence, I joined in April too. April 7th to be exact. Exactly a year after you joined.
Coincidence? 42. Nah, that doesn't fit. Or does it.

Thanks for the Help

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear Mr. Owen Rudge;

First of all Thank You, Sir, for your kind Holiday Blessings.
Now, I want to simply add to the last post I wrote here concerning Scenario Downloads,
and the tremendous success it's experienced. None of which it would've been possible
without your generous unequaled contribution to TTD. Thank You, My good Friend,
so much for believing in The Game and helping to make it so successful, for all of us.

I would also like to Thank another very good TTD Friend and Buddy, Mr. Krtaylor. He and his
great team, uniquely contributes to TTD, which vastly helps us all regain a renewed sense
of awarness concerning those wonderful US trains and stations, among the other "toys",
which is yet to come, all for our enjoyment. This is great!

His generosity in allowing me space on his most excellent website, has allowed for more
than 5,000 other TTD players to hopefully at least get a measure of enjoyment from my
scenarios. Thank you, Sir.

Also my Russian Buddy, Mr. Oleg, who is so very nice and I've enjoyed making a couple
of Russian scenarios for his country's TTD benefit, and plan on making more.
Thank you, Sir, for you faithful support.

There's many, many more great guys here (like Mr. Raichase, Mr. Lakie, Mr. Michael Blunck, etc.)
that have done so much for us here in TTD world, it's a shame I can't name them all. But, they
know I, and the rest here, do appreciate their hard work and stretched imagination,
just to make The Game, THE GAME!
Thanks, wonderful TTD family, Thank You! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Always,
Jim Powers

Almost 75% complete

Post by Jim Powers »

Interested TTD Members;

Well, I'm almost 75% complete in my last game, (from one of the best, if not the best scenario,)
"TTD Squares".

I love this game because it's sooooooooo challenging. Without altering the 36 cities, I must
connect my passenger/mail trains to all the cities, from as many directions as possible.
Now, that's one tall order, but fun? GREAT FUN! :lol: If you want my latest savegame, just ask.

BTW, I'm working on a new scenario call "World Trade Center". This scenario features 8 of the
leading world trade cities from around the world, including Hong Kong,
thus "World Trade center".

Meanwhile, here's the latest developement pics from Four Square Transport Co. :wink:

Always,
Jim Powers

p.s. (Got to move by the 15th, Ugh!)

Thank you, definitely... has it been 2 years already? I remember the days before you were on the forum, when you were still submitting many wonderful scenarios and games to the old Saved Game Repository (which indeed is still up, but in a bit of a sorry state). You've been an amazing contributor to the forums, here's to many more years of it!

Have a safe and happy Christmas. :)

"World Trade Center" arrives!

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear TTD Members;

I've squeezed in another scenario before I must disconnect to move, (if my wife don't divorce
me over not helping her move.) Anyway, here's my latest creation, "World Trade Center"!

"World Trade Center"offers you the opportunity to be Global in transporting around the world!
There are 8 major trading cities along the edge of the scenario with most of the
industries in the center of the scenario. Also I've elevated the areas around these cities and now
you can transport the goods and services very effectively going UNDER the cities.

The screenie hopefully will give you an idea what I mean.
Now think Global with"World Trade Center", and have fun! :lol:

Jim Powers

Thankyou, and again, Merry Christmas. I hope to see you reconnecting soon in your new place.

Oh, and help the wife, she's worth keeping ;).
