A new industry set

For a while now, I've been working on a new industry set tailored to my preferred gameplay with very large real-world maps and a focus more on network building rather then competing for highest profit or quick growth.

Some of it is quite close to other industry NewGRFs focused on heavy industries, while I also wanted to somehow "couple" the different vehicles (rail, road, air, ship) and " thoroughfares" (road, railway, airport) to the industries, although of course the OTTD game engine does not allow for example truck production by simply delivering something to a road depot.

The design and coding stage is now nearly finished and therefore I wanted to give a first preview on what is to come.

Any suggestion on the testing?!?

Do you use some special scenario to check if a NewGRF is working, simply play around until you are satisfied, or follow a structured procedure?

Would love to hear about how people do this essentially "invisible" but vital stage of content generation.

In case you are interested on how the industry/cargo chain maps were generated - there is a "DOT langugage" file attached which can be visualied with GraphViz

Just try testing with bare minimum grfs? Iron Horse and U&ReRMM, eGRVTS 2, etc. No town sets, no rail/road types, no objects or stations.

Looks impressive. Love the variety here.
