JF Ratt Roads - A fork of Auz Ratt Roads

Thanks to GarryG and Andrew350, after some trials, errors, minor adjustments and updates, now I can proudly release my adaptation of RattRoads and AuzRattRoads:

JFRattRoads!

The version is now v1.0.1, which means it is (hopefully) developed and stable.
Some of you have noticed that I have released an almost identical version (v1.0.0) in the post Auz Road Sets. The version number changed because some bugs were fixed and the website of GRF changed. This new version leads you to this post, while version 1.0.0 leads you to Auz Road Sets post.

WARNING: this new version is not compatible with any version before 1.0.0.

Use it with OpenTTD 1.10, JGRPP 0.32-RC1 or later!

And, the source is available on GitHub: https://github.com/JohnFranklin523/JF-Ratt-Roads

That was a quick reaction :)
By the way, it is a great pity that China, as the most populous country, does not have its own comprehensive set of vehicles - there is only a small set of Canton buses.

Been having a look at the roads you have in your set and that you kept most of those I did which is great ..

See you have some marked no houses .. is there any particular reason for this?

I plan to do some of those with fences without the fence and in some cases a different fence. Majority of roads in Australia have fences especially in the country .. not just to protect livestock bus also Kangaroos.

There a few places there is no fence when it passes through farms and there usually signs warning motorist to watch for livestock.

Cheers pal

Because I want to use this road set in multiplayer games, and some players don't know some roads don't let houses be built along them. To prevent them from building the fastest or industrial roads in cities causing degrowth, there should be some warnings.

Thanks for telling me :D .. I only did a quick try in the country see if I noticed any difference.
I not started my road set yet, got caught up with some problems with the AuzMilitaryObjects I need to sort out.

Cheers

When starting a new game, the basic road is unlimited in cities, which I don't like.

Awesome job, you have made my new favorite road set.

If I were to custom-order one, it would almost look like JF Ratt Roads.
Even Mop's RVs work like a charm with the electrified roads.

Hello, I would like to report a slight problem/bug. So basically, the street lights in RattRoads became a white bar on yours. See picture for more clear view of the problem and the parameters that I used.

Thank you.

This is because all of the graphics of JFRattRoads are from GarryG's AuzRattRoads, and AuzRattRoads also has this "bug". I haven't changed anything.

Hello again, I think I might found something. There is some old street lights in Ratt Roads and AuzRattRoadsPt2 for players that start before 1920 but none in AuzRattRoadsPt1 and AuzRattRoadsPt3. So, that's why maybe you've missed it. I don't know if you're allowed to add/edit it or not but I just want to let you know.

Cheers

For some reason, setting speed limits doesn't work...

You should set the unit in "KM/H, Custom".

Hello. After half a year, this road set should have an update.

And here it is.

v1.2: Add standardised roadtype labels. Also custom construction and maintenance costs. "KM/H, custom" is fixed now since other units and "no speed limit" could also be set by parameters.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY VERSION BEFORE V1.2!!!

Downloadable on BaNaNaS; check GitHub for sources.
