crossings issue

Hi

I might be stupid, but i can't seem to find how to enable road signals for crossings. At the moment my road vehicles get into accidents all the time.

You can only put signals on train tracks...and where road and track meet you are almost certain to have crashes. The best option is to avoid having them cross. Build a roadbridge nearby and road vehicles should take the safer route.

Also, in the advanced settings, prohibit towns building level crossings.

Us on the rail tracks path signals in sufficient distance to the level crossing. As soon as the tile gets reserved by a train, a road vehicle will see the red light and not enter the crossing tile anymore.

It's seems it has something with the zbase package? The signals I'm looking for is attached and is running OpenGFX. Is it that simple that zbase doesn't show the lights but they are "there" anyway?

Yes, the signals are there but they are not shown. The base graphics set doesn't influence the game this way.

So is there any addon or something that has these showing for zbase? I kinda like the pretty lights.. =)

it's rather an omission in zbase itself. Nothing which cannot be fixed there (and it should). You could report it in its issue tracker, so that it won't become forgotten.
