there is a north american set, jappanes set,but wath about the middle east?yes i know, you was thinking only on terrisim while you reding middle east(and belive me,there is).
the middle east is very large are,so road veniscle should be vital.

the most importent thing is the town.there is no original trains or roads venis, but in the middle east there is unique then tropical, europian or american towns, and different for sure than asian.

the next part are in israel, where are soone gonna be tram ways,so it nessecery to design trams.
other road venis' are should be the same as the original tt deluxe.
trains are need some add on, and also we need truist industry(for egypth and israel, and maybe jordan).
so we need to add on industry of turims, and maybe also a fertilizer (israel know for pospath indutry)

plz made contact!i need drwers and coders!

In my opinion, the first thing you´d need would be a spell checker.

I'm not from UK or USA either, but I succeed using correct capitalization and punctuation.. Not to speak of spelling.. Btw, Firefox spellchecker is a really nice thing. It automatically underlines false words. :P

Whatever, but with this kind of spelling people won't take you serious. That line of text would be 100% correct if you used Capitalization and punctaction properly.

And Google searchs!

Example:

"I must to do this" ---> 55 results
"I must do this" ---> 148.000 results ---> This is the correct sentence

Other goods tools are http://en.wiktionary.org/ and home English dictionaries.

EDIT: add the R.

The same way Google search gives more than Google seachs

third-new stations,as in Canadian stations,a stations platform and building(that act as scenery).
new airport design,WITH!!!!! tile of 4X7(long runway, small terminal).

davidx123, I have merged your new post. Please do not make new threads for the same subject.

Jesus guys calm down. I'm shocked to see this level of hostility against a non-native speaker, especially given that his post was easily legible.

What on earth was the point of your replies? Are you just trying to put this guy down? Is that the kind of place this is?

Its not fair to discriminate against someone based on their ability with English. You shouldn't judge someone by how they spell things but by what they're trying to say.

davidx123 - Sounds like a good idea. You should post in the TTDPatch Graphics section if you want to try to get some help with starting a NewGRF set. I know that doesn't make much sense, but trust me! :) The TTDPatch Graphics forum is where al the artists and coders hang out. This forum is more for graphics related features in OpenTTD and large projects like OpenGFX and the 32bpp replacement stuff. You'll get more replies if you go over there.

Good luck with your set :)

But it is fair to discriminate against someone who is demonstrably incapable of installing and using an English-language spellchecker.

We've found by experience that people who are careless and sloppy writers are usually also careless and sloppy at thinking and coding (often enough to bet on, anyway). Answering questions for careless and sloppy thinkers is not rewarding; we'd rather spend our time elsewhere.

I do not associate with the arrogant "we" in Dalestan's quote. Given how hard it is to communicate in a foreign language, the OP's post was easily understood, even if not precise English.

I would be interested to see Dalestan's comments translated by Dalestan into the OP's native language. I bet it would be full of poor grammar, spelling mistakes, use of wrong tenses, etc. However, I also bet they would be gracious enough to understand that an effort to communicate respectfully in their language had been made, and would seek to understand rather than belittle the speaker/author.

(This is from my own experience of trying to communicate in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Zulu, Afrikaans, Khosa, and lately Albanian. Everyone of the people I have spoken with has smiled and helped the discussion along without berating me for misspelling, mispronouncing, or constructing my sentences badly.)

And no, discrimination is NEVER fair, which is why for many things discrimination is illegal.

There would be no spelling mistakes. The rest, possibly, and eye might use completely the wrong word, but there would be no spelling mistakes. Unlike the OP, I would take the 60 seconds to install an appropriate spell-checker.

Both of you are missing the point. IMO, no "discrimination" has taken place at all.

Let me point out my first reply, which seems to have been spurred further postings.

Firstly, posting with such an amount of typing errors is extremely "impolite" against other users, and in turn, many wouldn´t read something like this at all, yet answer such a post. But indeed, using a spell-checker would be an easy relief.

Secondly, apart from the grammatical shortcomings of that post (like DaleStan, I always find something like this being an indication of "carelessness and sloppyness at thinking"), the tone was sort of "demanding" (others seem to feel alike), and unpleasantly "teaching", and, together with the aforementioned "impoliteness", postings like this are getting increasingly on my nerves, the longer I´m active on the net, but I´m not always in the mood to ignore them.
richk67 wrote: I do not associate with the arrogant "we" in Dalestan's quote.
Well, ditto for the "we". Especially, because "we" know something more about the Middle East than this:
davidx123 wrote:yes i know, you was thinking only on terrisim while you reding middle east.
Having to read something like this is annoying at least.

And o/c we don´t
davidx123 wrote: need to add on industry of turims, and maybe also a fertilizer (israel know for pospath indutry).
Why should we have a need for this?

Last, but not least:

I'm still eagerly awaiting a picture of this keyboard that is supposedly the cause of all spelling and grammar mistakes ever made by David, but alas I think such a thing is but a figment of the mind.

Is this a keyboard I see before me,
The capslock key tward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee.
I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.
Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible
To feeling as to sight? or art thou but
A keyboard of the mind, a false creation...

But in all seriousness David, you might want to start small and help out elsewhere. I wanted to code a few locomotives and i'm struggling through the mess that is NFO (atleast, its a mess to me, I am sure to those who understand it I am little more than an ignorant peasant, but I try). Your talking of an entire transport set, and infrastructure thrown in! (Some of which may be impossible, the long airport idea springs to mind).

So, my advice, practice drawing sprites, practice a little NFO where you can (you may pick it up better than I) then reassess your goals and see if they are still achievable.

I think if you're going to lecture on spelling and grammar, check your own! I can't believe your hostility towards a non-English speaker, who's trying to put forward what i believe would be quite a nice idea, especially for the sub-Tropical climate, and you shoot him down, just because of his spelling!!

Well, if you rely on the output of a spell-checker, then more fool you. They cannot understand the mis-spelling of a word, when it matches a validly spelt word.

e.g. There sax could not fill the whole. Three spelling mistakes, but no spell-checker would object.

Actually I think DaleStan is giving an example how spell checkers cannot fix everything, i.e. he has written a meta-sentence which is doing exactly the thing he is writing about.
