Seem to have run into a inconvenience with running TTD in multiplayer. It's 2137 now and we have 80 power stations while having little other industries(Not the first time either). I think it's becouse Power stations won't go bankrupt thus you'll only end up with power stations.
While you could turn on the patch to be able to build any kind of industry would sort of solve it, I find it kinda cheating to do so. Patching TTD would be a option but does not make it very multiplayer friendly. Now I was wondering a few things;
-Is this a bug/balance issue? (never expected to run a map that long?)
-Does ECS have the same problem?
-Is there a way to control the way industries are being chosen to build? Does not seem to be a pattern, but it would be nice if a industry spawns that has the least amount thereof.
Server running 0.6.0 Beta3 on a 1024x1024 map. Map started in 1950.

I think power stations should close the same way as any other processing industry (e.g. Factory).

They should. But the whole industry model needs urgent replacement...
