Thats awesome!

This might be a little off-topic, but I see that a guy builds land around a town so that it won't expand. I never thought of that, that's real handy. :P

Bah, I've done that before. In fact I've done it with an old experimental 32bpp version:

Not one that most Europeans would understand, unfortunately.

For those who don't get it, this page at Snopes should prove enlightening.

JPG SUX!!! USE PNG!!!
There are times when JPG is useful, TTD screenshots is not one of them. Please use PNG instead.

So occasionally stuff happens in the game that is just, REALLY funny to me. Here are some examples.

My bro and I were laughing at this one for a long time-

Pointless but funny.

My wife likes to sabotage my games sometimes if i go to the loo or go make a cup of tea or something. I'll come back to it later and find that some of my stations suddenly have silly names!

I use passenger destination patch too...so suddenly i notice i've got passengers heading for Big B:@£cks Central or something!

Her doings can take a while to find as well! I think its her way of telling me i've spent too long playing the game and she's bored!

I always click save now when i have the urge to wee or make a drink!

You can use this tool to convert videos to different formats and to animated GIF

========

On Topic:

I was on an online server the other day. Me and a few other guys built a mountain (out of sea level ground) to the maximum height limit and surrounded the mountain with a river. Then I cut off the top and put my HQ up there and surrounded it with a canal. Then another guy built a little railway loop on the slope in between my HQ and the canal and ran a train on it (like in the first post).

Then another guy built a a giant mountain with an HQ on it and I built the same small loop around his HQ except I used a thirty car train so it was actually longer than the track so the front of the train was actually inside the front :P

This could be a pain when you actually have enough cash and you accidently make a tunnel to the end of the map.....
(Though I don't think it was such a long one that it cost THAT much when I did it...)
