hello everyone , im wondering if anyone has a list or knows what grfs work with the tropic climate?

P.S. does anyone feel the same as me?, that the tropic climate is the ugly duckling since there are few

grfs for it?

tbh i don't play much of the topical climate, manly in multiplayer. which i don't find myself playing as much theses days

NARS also works in Tropic, and same goes for Long Vehicles and New ships, which can also be found on GRFCrawler.

There's also the semi-unofficial "UKRS in the Sun" if you're that way inclined.

As far as non-train grfs go, most of the RV and aircraft sets out there will work in tropic.

i play mostly tropic since im latin american, and im sure a lot of other

latino players out there do the same,

so thats why i was asking about grfs for tropic..

i was looking for new building sets for tropic to spice it up a bit

....and if you're into the nightlys then you might want to use some prettier graphics too I've done two things for Tropical Climate, which practically are ready

Tropical Bank 32bpp and Tropical Flats 32bpp (those higher ones )
I think I will do more tropical work in some time too, but at moment I'm busy with school and GTA

As far as I'm aware, TTRS works for the tropical climate.

I cannot offer any train sets, but the Canadian Stations Set and the North American Roads Set work in the tropics. Check GRFCrawler for details ...

Serbian Rail set, Long vehicles, AV8, Planeset... also work in Tropic.

i play with OTTD myself, not with TTD patch...

The American Transition Train Set that White Rabbit linked to in the above post works very well with OpenTTD in all climates. Unfortunately the latest version (0.87.1 - July 19, 2007) has a small flaw that does not allow grain (temperate climate) or wheat (arctic climate) to be transported by its early boxcars. The covered grain hoppers that become available around 1960 will allow grain and wheat to be transported but prior to that year there is no wagon that can transport these cargoes. The author is working on fixing the problem. I'm still using the older version of this set (0.86 - Sept. 13, 2005) until a solution to this minor problem can be found. Again, unfortunately, I do not know of any place that this older version can still be found available for download and I do not want to post it here without the author's permission.
