ok, how to make junctions:
click on autorail (hotkey a)
lay some rails
click on signals
place some signals

This is a guide where I spent the same % of the needed time as you do on your graphics :P

Seriously, you should use the search button as somebody have already written about this. Also go ahead and play the game. I'm not going to tell my company secrets here. You might try to steal it if you find me in a multiplayer game though

In case you haven't read the statement about graphics, then read this: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=381711#381711

That game's running on my server in London. (: Glad to see that the coal drop-off has been extended.

If people want to watch that game, get on IRC at irc.freenode.net, join #openttdcoop and introduce yourself to the players there.

I will join the channel sometime! As I've finished playing NFS Most Wanted, i'm back to OpenTTD again, and those screenshots above are very promising about the 'intelect' of the #openttdcoop players!

Offtopic:
Brian, are you a member as well?

I'm an honorary member. I haven't submitted my own network for review (although it's on the way) but since I provide a fast server for the game I'm welcome to play.

That said, I don't treat the game as mine, and won't divulge the password. It belongs to the openttdcoop members, and is simply hosted on my box.

Those are not openttdcoop-junctions but can be great. A problem with these?

For a huge game of #openttdcoop (currently going on), have a look at http://atlantis.beetjevreemd.nl:8080/wi ... NSPORT.zip

There are manymany junctions in there - the network is almost complete, but still many industries have to be connected.

Do that 4-way junction with 2-lane lines and see if it works then.

-Here are two 4-way junctions I've been working on.

-The "4-way Express" has two main lines going forward, two tunnel lines for right-hand turning and a left-hand turn incorporated into the main line. It's a 16x18 junction so it's quite big.

-The "4-way Express Standard" is an improved version of another 4-way junction. The one on the picture is a 16x16 junction though you can also make it 14x14.

4-way Express Standard is very nice, indeed :) I really like it.
I think 4-way Express is more a spaghetti junction, but seems it's ok :)

Here are some pictures from one of my best games. They are pretty basic. The first one is a exit of the main line for the station, this one works very good. The second one show two cloverleafs. This are looks pretty bad but the town have spread so quick so there is no way i can improve the situation here. Actually moste train can get past this area pretty fast so i dont mind.

-Another junction I made. It's been tested with 46 trains(6 Wagons) between 4 stations. It can cope with this amount of traffic with few delays. With 42 trains there's hardly any delay at all. The junction is 24x24 tiles but can be compacted into 20x20(I think).

EDIT: The main lines are both on ground level her because I like it that way. Raising one of the lines would alleviate some of the traffic.
