i think getreide is better then getreideprodukte

and it also seems to me that Fahrzeuge is a better term for the good kraftfahrzeug because we do not have a car shop and in mies the often used wagons to transport the goods

This term is not represented in LV4. What do you mean?

the problem is that I can't find, what parts of that file cause the crash.

Erm? What? isn't the TTRS Zimmlock's domain?

And what's wrong with using the name "TTRS3w.grf"? Some of us do have to type that name in by hand, and it's several types of not-fun to try to figure out why the line "TotalTownReplacmentSet3w.grf" results in a GRF-file-not-found. (I count at least three mistakes there.)

Especialy for dos users they have a limitation on how long the filename can be(including extensions).

George gets it right for the DOS version; what I fail to understand is how it can possibly be easier to produce TTRS3.grf and TotalTownReplacement3w.grf. I won't even begin to wonder why it is he seems to think the latter is easier for Windows users.

Somewhat OT: There's an entry in my newgrfw.cfg: newgrf/4LVw.grf
Which, predictably enough, is version 4 of the long vehicles. Because it's easier to rename the grf than to get the canon name correctly into newgrfw.cfg.

its Kraftwagen, no kraftfahrzeug. Does Fahrzeuge also means harvesting machines for farms, coal-plough machine for coal mine and other?

Yes, I do it with Zimmlock. I didn't code his buildings yet, but it will be done

it's a text and you can spell it, while abbreviations are hard for spelling

I've created a poll in LVs thread about windows file name. I'll apply its' results both to LV4 and ECS.
