No-no, no fights.

It's just we are very concerned about the logical chain "Sergej is russian, then all russians are like Sergej" and some other common misbelieves.

Believe me that the majority of people don't draw such conclusions the user called drakoon has gotten on my nerves on several other topics already, so please regard him as an exception amongst the non-russians here, much like you're asking us to regard sergey as an exception to how russians are.


As for the copyrighting stuff, I believe it just comes down to the fact that the government (or anyone else) doesn't really enforce it in russia. I bet in any other country they would also breach copyright a lot more, if the government didn't really enforce it. It's got nothing to do with the people. Who will spend money for something if he can just copy it and there's (near to) no risk for him?

I understand, that most people here are adequate. Still, the stereotypes are quite strong somehow, and now it wasn't the first time when i hear such claims here, in OTTD section of TT-forums. Maybe it's the concequence of SS presence, but anyway it's not the way it should be. So that's why i'm taking part in this mess, which is another "About Sergej_Sim" topic.

Mmmm... I have a strange feeling that we are spending a lot of time discussung Sergey_S... It seems to me, that it is just some kind of wasting our time! i don't feel that Sergey_Sim is so interesting person to be talked about a lot. Let's just follow advices above and simply forget about him. He is nothing else than null.
But I want to ask administration or some active users to give simple answers and comments to the questions like in the first post in this topic. I'm sure it will help to avoid discussions like this one.

For one to get reputation of Sergey_S you need to steal a project and claim it as your own work.

There are lots of possibilities to lower your reputations Draakon.. Ignorance and arrogance among them.

Draakon, there are only 2 people that can play the really moody b****** on this forum. One of which is Dave Worley and the other, as we all know, is DaleStan. There is no room for a third and frankly if there was, you wouldn't get the award as you try to hard at it. What you are doing now is verging on trolling. Stop it.
