Gurluas, you should add link to the dxmci.dll in the readme since you've added the tto theme mp3 version. And the link is this: http://home.amis.net/lkslavi/bin/dxmci12.zip

Then to make it work in OTTD, you must patch this into TTDPatch, and use the converted TTDPatch graphics to install OTTD.
(This atleast worked with the alternate centileversteel bridges here.)

The tto start music don't work for me. I set general midi as the music type, extracted gm_tt01 (which will be gm_tt00(where the start music stands)) into the gm folder, but I don't hear the tto music, only the normal ttd ones. Also, the title for openttd only shows water when I extract it.

that's because the OTTD title is extracted from a save game, and save games differ from one TT gameversion to another. :P

Yeah, you didn't... my mistake :)
Could you add this little game music advice to the readme?

Hmm, strange. If you used a fm synthesizer when you played TTO, then you should go here: http://users.tt-forums.net/jfs/ and download the dxmci.dll here: http://home.amis.net/lkslavi/bin/dxmci12.zip

Put the mp3 files to your fm folder in the TTD folder.
And change the filenames like this:

Transport Tycoon theme > 9_tt00.fm (you can choose here :) )
Transport Tycoon Deluxe theme > 9_tt00.fm

Easy Driver > 9_tt02.fm

Little Red Diesel > 9_tt03.fm

Cruise Control > 9_tt17.fm

Don't Walk > 9_tt07.fm

Fell apart on me > 9_tt09.fm

City Groove > 9_tt04.fm

Funk Central > 9_tt19.fm

Stoke It > 9_tt06.fm

Road Hog > 9_tt12.fm

Aliens Ate my Railway > 9_tt05.fm

Snarl Up > 9_tt01.fm

Stroll On > 9_tt18.fm

Can't get there from here > 9_tt10.fm

Sawyers Tune > 9_tt08.fm

Hold That Train > 9_tt13.fm

Movin' On > 9_tt21.fm

Goss Groove > 9_tt15.fm

Small Town > 9_tt16.fm

Broomer's Oil Rag > 9_tt14.fm

Jammit > 9_tt20.fm

Hard Drivin' > 9_tt11.fm

I downloaded the tto start theme mp3, renamed to 9_tt00.fm and configured the sound type to fm but at starting the game I get error. Are you sure that I most rename the file?

Posted: 04 Dec 2005 15:34
by Jezulkim
Yes, you have to rename the file. Are you sure you have the dxmci.dll version 1.2 in your TTD folder?

I have an older version of dxmci. That's the reason of my problem. Thanks.

I did that but when I start a new game I get a error without text and the music don't plays, and if I change the track sometimes one track starts playing. The start music just works fine.

There's a bug in dxmci that causes your problem. Just click "next track" or "stop" "play" in order to make the music work

Sorry, a double post.

But hey! an update to TTO monorail.

-Junction blocks are fixed now.

Still to do:

-Direct (?) graphics replacement for iron ore mine.

-Add TTO colourful GUI. Maybe not possible yet.

-Something that I can't remember now, maybe nothing :)
