The cross should be thicker IMO

I can do that but I'm afraid that the train is not visible then, Ill give it a try:

I made it 2 pixels thicker.

EDIT: for the eye candy, can we put in modernized trains over time?
(e.g. first steam train, until 1960, then the SH30 or somthing, 1995 the Asia Star, and for the monorail the X2001, and for the maglev the levihatan, and in 2035 the cyclops.)

EDIT2: Ow and an other idea popped in: why not make the menu larger via a sort of pull meganism. (Okay that was confusing)
For the ones who have monster trains it is annoying that you have to use the scrollbar do delete some wagons, so my idea is that you are able to stretch the window horizontally and diagonally, like what we have in Windows. Idea?

But now you have the problem again that it isn't obvious that the bin kills one thing and the train + cross kills lots of things, which is one of the main resons this was started... I vote for the one and many trahcans icon - it's obvious what that means.

It's about the sell whole train button, and I have this other idea and that was that it could be possible that you can select the desired wagons (the ones that have to be sold) and just 1 button to sell the selected wagons.
Like selecting in a way how windows selects files or folders.

(with ctrl + click to select manually, and shift + 2 clicks to make an whole selection between the first click and the second.

I like that way better!

Well, I think it would be very useful but you'd need a tutorial to teach everyone that cuz it's complicated. Also the selected ones would need to shine for better ovreview of the selected wagons, engines.
Kind of like the file selection system in windows,

Hey how about this in all the stations, depots, hangars...

Nice idea, but the colors could be more ... [don't know how to say this] ... smaller 'steps' by mixing colors.

I did... I mixed the colours......zoom the picture with your viewer and you'll see. But if I'd have made "smaller" (longer) steps it wouldn't have use up the whole company colour's colours.(ladder or something I dunno that precise art english)

  woow nice I like that.

I realized there is a red dot after I've posted it though it doesn't mean anything....cuz you know that thats whats left from copying from the original red background.

Anyway I like yours better

It's not very complicated, and besides I think that it's more efficient that way, and you need only 1 button, not two.

(I hate the grab-and-drag way, you need ages to delete stuff)

You're not using the TTD Palette, are you?

EDIT: Need to be darker anyways, IMO

that's the best one IMO ;)

HOWEVER I still like plain TTD graphics; simplicity rules :D

I know, but there will be a new graphics array anyways so more colours can be possible then or not?

I vote for the train loc with the thinner cross, so you can see there is a train beneath it.. and it makes it clear what the button is for.

Multiple trash cans doesnt seem to point out what the button does actually... thats my opinion.

Well how does a loco with a cross through it imply 'sells whole train'? It could just mean 'sells loco' :P

ehm... not quite, when you use a little bit of logic it will become clear that it wouldn't make sense to delete only a loco  , I still vote for the select and "push-button-to-delete-selected-items" idea!

Why not combine our ideas!

Like this: Purno's idea of the windowbar, and my layout! how about that for starters, and then the next step: decide what image we could use for the delete button.

(or maybe even my idea :P  )
