I was just checking the stats page. Congratulations on a record day - about 200 hours giving about 2800 points. More members would really help us to beat this record and maybe hit a 3000 poitn day.

Any takers?

Welcome to the team: WildStrings, good to have you on board. May you stay with us for a great length of time and submit many large work units!

That addition to the team puts the member rank up to #4,093, other stats as follows:

CPU Time: 0:069:15:50:12 (# 21,125)
Points: 26,658 (# 19,442)
Results: 145 (# 20,583)

That's a movement of about 1,300 ranks since I last posted the stats (Jun 24)

Congratulations to all - New record yesterday - 5 Work Units returned.

Two of these (I think) were returned by WildStrings so congratulations on your first returned units.

There is still plenty of room within the team you know - you could fill it. For more info, see the beginning of this thread or PM me.

Hi sorry I didn't see this thread when I joined. I had already signed up to Ud years ago but when I found team stats on you signature, I joined it.

I'm back and getting very concerned about how much processing Eric Craig is putting in! I had to leave my computer on a timer over the last two weeks to make sure that I was still processing work units!

Not that I'm complaining - keep up the good work.

Just to let you know, the team has generated enough points to put it just ahead of the Falkland Islands (amongst others). The amount of CPU Time puts us behind the Federated States of Micronesia by 29 Minutes and Results Returned puts us between Congo and Dominica.

We have the same number of members as:
Fiji
St Kitts and Nevis
Maldives
Occupied Palestinian Territory

Now isn't that something to be proud of!

For anybody running CoolMon that would like the stats on their desktop, the script attached will generate a text file which can be included in your CoolMon config. Simply edit the necessary line in the file to read "96DABB50-0ED2-4156-8CFD-088879EAE7D0" and the data will be dumped into a text file (be sure to create the directory first). Any problems, just ask.

News From Grid.org:

A new cancer protein should be arriving in your work units from now on. For those of you who may not have encountered a conacer work unit yet there are only 20 ligands and these are taking me about 40 minutes to work through each ligand (on an AMD Athlon XP 1800+). If you aren't running UD Monitor I suggest you do so as this will prevent you losing too much crunching time on these longer ligands due to rebooting.

Finally - I've reached 100 days processing for my UD account :D .

Thanks to the existing members of the team for the continued support, I do check most days that there are still completed WUs coming in. That said, there really aren't enough coming in. We haven't yet reach a single year of processing today and are not acheiving a full 24 hours of processing per day on average. The team still needs YOU and your spare computing power to make a real difference.

NEWS UPDATE:

The UD Team yesterday passed the 100000 points mark.

Increased user activity has also meant that the average CPU Time today has puched its way above 19 hours per day and looking at the recent stats, should be reaching 24 hours in the not too distant future. The same goes for results returned per day - coming up to 2 per day (although recent results are much higher).

We still want more members in the team however - with your processing power as part of the team, we could vastly increse our chances of reaching these milestones in no time at all.

Please visit http://www.grid.org/services/teams/team ... 8879EAE7D0 to join up.

I am pleased with what I am doing, it seems to go far quicker here than on my PC at home, which is utter rubbish! It's a shame I didn't use it for so long though, because I have a really poor work units to days ratio!

I joined too, as you might have noticed.

You may also have noticed that I've been away from the forums for a while - no excuse really  . Anyhow, welcome to the team Petae and Hyronymus, gald to have you aboard.

I've noticed that the averages really are shooting up lately. By the way, the "Teresa's" user is a pair of computers that I manage in a school. I don't intend to install it on them all as they are far too slow.

Anyway - there's definitely still room in this team for new members, so come in, the water's great! We're all the way up to page 7 of the teams beginning with T sorted by members. It won't take many more members to push us up a few pages

Let's see what my P4 can pull off...

Ah, a P4 - that would probably explain why you have put in 4 work units already. This is great news. I'm looking forward to the first 8 WU day :D
