Just one OT thing (sorry for OT): if you and Maley are different persons (?), did he told you what he did here and why he was banned? It'd be enough reason to not use his e-mail, and you probably have more mates having e-mail. (If he didn't, what a mate, eh?)
Anyway, let's see what will happen.
Just thinking...
BTW, wagons are nice (espetially first one). About buildings: I'm not so good in drawing buildings, but texturing is really missing.

The buildings have not been textured yet i'm going to texture it soon.

First: Relax.
Second: Take your time drawing a building, a vehicle, an item and then do nothing with it for a day or two. Then return to the sprites in question and see if there is anything you could add or remove that would make it better.
Third: Once you are so sick and tired of looking at the sprites in question, then post it here. Yes you are ambitious, but there really is no need for what seems to be an hourly update.
This tactic works for me - though I will be the first to admit that I rarely draw sprites and my work stinks.

So take your time, review other people's past work in detail to see how they accomplished a certain look. Play the game and see how buildings and whatnot are highlighted and shaded at a certain angle to the Sun. And practice, practice, practice...
Being a master is not an overnight achievement.

Not bad, not bad at all, but maybe too much regullar. Try with more tones and more randomizing.

Erm ..... i'm not that sure how to randomize and tone the brick texture as it is very diffucult. Any more advice.

Yes, Maley can be very annoying as he always talks about ttd and locomotion. His graphics problem was a very annyoing problem as he kept on sending me e-mails with the graphics on.
Now can we please get on topic and please could someone send me an e-mail with trucks and cranes please.
edit : Maley123 shouldn't have got a permanate ban as the rules say 4 strikes and a ban for 1 - 7 days.
notice anything? well i did
look at first paragrahp
(i am in no way sujesting that g_m is marley123 but seriosley)

I'm going to say one thing, and that is he even showed his email to be maley123@hotmail . You'd have to be a fool to believe the "Its my best friend" line. It reminds me of B52/Andrew Barwhateverski.

maley123 is graphics_master is b52 is andrew_barchifowski!
It is the undeniable truth!

Yakka, this forum goes all wacky at the suggestion of banning someone!
graphic_master/maley, take your time drawing stuff. It's not a race.

With one difference: Maley created multiple accounts to evade bans, and B52 created multiple accounts for... I believe even he don't knows why!
And people, please don't start flaming again! Remember what happened last time. And, maybe he grew up a little. As I said: let's see what will happen.

Here is example how to do that. Use one tone before or after in combination with tone you are using to paint bricks.

Thank you.
I really don't feel like drawing sprites at the moment though as I want to play OTTD.

It really doesn't matter... And as for a person saying the same thing as another automatically meaning they're the same person... especially as something as simple as "ow", well... that's a bit stoopid.
Let's all love each other... and... er... stuff.
Fair play to you on your graphics, nice effort.

Good, but I think it looks a bit squashed in the / and \ views. Kinda link a UFO landed on it.

You are learning, young padawan! (sp?

You forgot to mirror to obtain \ wiew (you have 2 / wiews). It'd be better to draw 2 side doors instead of one in middle, now it looks more like mail van. And door for passing between wagons on | wiew will make your wagon more realistic.
And one advice: cut off unused (white) part of picture.

Ooops I missed that out. Is there a mirror function on paint ?

sry for double post but :
I thought of making a set called "Future & Beyond" which is a set that akes it's own vechiles up so you have more to look forward to when you reach like 2050 upwards. This set will be a good idea I think. I put up this as a discussion so people can give there own ideas in about the set before I start it as i don't wanna start a set that will never start off.
I thought of some good trains
Harraio
More likely to be an passenger train or a small frieght train.
Speed : 300 mph
Weight : 10 tonnes
Power : 100,000 bhp
Track : MagLev
Rhino
Most likely to be a huge freight train.
Speed : 200 mph
Weight : 5 tonnes
Power : 150,000
Track : MagLev

by Dave
May be a little heavier than 5 or 10 tonnes with that amount of HP... that stuff don't just magically appear.
Posted: 07 Jun 2006 18:42
by graphics_master
Maybe 500 tonnes to make it more realistic for the engine and stuff. The train would be made out of a strong and heavy metal aswell so the weight may be alright.
