I think I noticed this same behaviour with: [strike through]construction yard[/strike through] Woodshop (Dutch: Houtwerkplaats). Gonna take a look at it now.

I've found and fixed two different bugs.
The nightly here should fix them.
http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/firs/nightlies/r1526/
I will release this as soon as possible as 0.5.5 However I need some confirmed reports that the bugs are gone - not testing enough is why 0.5.4 was broken

Production wothout delivery - fixed, coal ignored in steel mill - fixed (what resulted in implosion of network due to production changed from 500 tonnes to 2400 tonnes), grain ignored in bakery - fixed.

Thanks Kogut. I'm going to make this a release candidate.
FIRS 0.5.5-RC1 will show up here (until replaced by a newer version):

Version compatible with 0.5.4? I started a test server for CargoDist just before the weekend in order to find desyncs. And would like to continue on this map and network.

Yes, only changes are (hopefully) fixing the bugs.

Discovery not related to anything: It is really hard to get decent production of food - from all the map I have no more than 600 tonnes a month, when from small part of oil over 1M of petrol production. My food is going to be produced mainly from coal (manufacturing supplies).

Is it by design that founded arable farm is placed with fields and mixed farm not (there are generated later)?

Ha ha, probably quite realistic. If you were converting Oil->[other steps]->Food, even more realistic
Is the issue just that farm production is low by default?

No. Looks like an issue.

Small question: is anybody interested in ai delivering farm and engineering supplies in smart way?

Seems like it would be an interesting AI problem

Yes, but there are multiple interesting ai problems - I want to check is it sth what will be used.

FIRS 0.5.5 is now on Bananas.
- Fixed mistake where secondary industries with two output cargos would produce even with no input cargo
- Fixed mistake with production ratio registers which broke production at many industries

Hi, I might have caught another bug. I was playing a FIRS game with 0.5.5-RC1 with params 0 0 3. I was feeding metal to machine shop, and transporting eng supply from it. I had this machine shop close on me twice in this game. I don't know if this happens to any other secondary industries or promaries for that matter. And I really haven't tested it extensively to see if this is reliably reproducable. (I'll at least go and test if this happens with the full release too.)

If I've understood my own set correctly, 0 0 3 would mean 'allow primary and secondary closure'.
So the issue is, why did it close if you were transporting cargo in and out?
It's probably either a bug, or more work needed on closure conditions. See if you can reproduce it....
cheers,
Andy

Yes, that's it.
And yes, it's reproducible, I think. For a test, I set up 2 chains:
1st chain is coal -> steel mill -> steel -> machine shop -> eng. supply -> back to coal mine.
2nd chain is the, same, except I transported coal, iron ore and scrap metal to the steel mill.
I set up that game, set the game on fast forward, went to bed... and came back the next morning, and both steel mills were gone this time.
I was wondering if not transporting all the possible incoming materials to that industry might be a key. This experiment negated it.

Thanks. Code says that if the industry produced cargo in a month, it should be protected from closure for the next 18 months. After 18 months with no production, there's a random chance of closure.
Seems like that's not working

Hi,
I'm getting to know with FIRS and I couldn't find any all-in-one scheme of the industry chain. Is there something like that anywhere? Thanks.

Thanks

I've read first and last page and I don't know if it is possible to search throughout only one thread? Anyway, I got it, thanks again
