Well, you're allowed to use almost everything in filename these days, but still it's a good idea to restrict a bit, especially when you want to copy the file to someone or post it on the net. My personal way to prevent problems: use short file name, only letters (no other symbols) without diacritics (if you have diacritics), and skip spaces or use underscore "_" instead of space " ".
This is not "the only good" way while others are "bad", it just saves me trouble like finding out that I can't upload the file or the filename messed up.
(Or this one: you copy thousands of files using some stupid application that doesn't know diacritics and then find out that most of the names are completely messed up... lovely)

(p.s. the trash cans are good, but isn't it a good idea to select the desired wagons (the wagons that must be deleted) and just 1 delete button, so when pressed that all selected wagons are sold.
Just the idea of not draggin' all wagons to a button to sell it, but selecting and delete it! 2 (or a few more) clicks.)

The Rocket (a.k.a. the olympic torch) ,
The train symbol with an oval with 1 line trough it,
The train symbol with an oval with a cross in it,
Or the train sybol with a cross in it without the oval.

My vote goes to the oval with an line trough it!
