Hi, I'm trying to build a set of chinese maps.
The 1st one in progress is the Northeastern part of China, which is the main industry zone in the past 50 years. If I can build a acceptable one, I'll continue to make the rest parts.... Tibet map sounds interesting but I guess it would be hard to play on it without cheating :). I've been there for sometime, the terrian is not suitable for any type of transport....

Here comes a test one. This map is not exactly like the real one, but you can get a general idea about the eastern part of China (Jilin, Liaoning, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong and part of Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai) and some part of N/S Korea. The landscape file is included.

Maybe this is some kind of messed up coz so many industries and cities on the map... But just a part of China is too big. The Korean part of the map has too much of mountains that is hard to build roads, I'll try to flat them later.

^ Good job on that map :D

But is it just me or is there a city called "glumhead" near Jinan in China? :?

Of course the eastern part of China. But I'm not sure which is more interesting. What I have done is somehow overcrowded.

Does someone has a China map, in black and white, without any letters? I cannot find it, I'm not Chinese...

Example: Something like this

cooooool a china map is just what ive been searching for

now we need Western China, this is somehwhere i personally travelled to. (Chengdu is seen as capital of the west of China but Chongqing is quickly building city).

I think this will be difficult terrain though which should keep the game rural and intresting. !! 8) :)
