I like them very much, the idea is unique also

Try adding doors, windows, benches and lamps, unless it's a cargo station

its a SHELTER, a TRAIN SHED, you store a engine in there for repairs or during the time its not used.

i like that thing, jezulkim. t'is a little bright and a tad bit colourish, but it could become something cool. a new depot, coming along with the Gen. stations for instance.

The extra sprites for the platforms and the platforms for the station base.

Even if its a shelter, theres no always necessity it to become a depot replacement, you can do pretty cool layouts with diffrent kinds of sheds via stations.

New version: darker sprites and doors.

they do have warehouses where goods and mail are often loaded.

then usually its called a "goods shed" instead of a shelter.

well, it could be a station part ofcourse, but it could also be a new depot graphic. isn't that a nice idea, depots that change along the year, just like MB's waypoint stations. i see something in that.

Okay, we're definatly getting a freight class now.
Also, good work on furthur delaying the next version, I
have to get these in and going

.
However, the platform and the wall has to be merged into one sprite, I'll do that myself however, you just worry about getting more of that fantastic stuff out.
And Born: Great work, those platforms themselves look very good.
Infact I have an idea, How about we use the rooves and walls of Jez's, with Born Acorns platforms?
Im all for it, so, well, off I go...

you're doing it to yourself you know...
anyhoo, if i get some inspiration (and a good drawing program) i'll hook up some ideas of freight stations i had earlier.
edit: hurray! i just figured I.mage and it's incredible palette tool. i'm back in business, and tried a little stationing and also tried to do a dutch steam train (both failed miserably though).

Since we're doing freight stations, is there any way someone can draw a station with an overhead traveling crane?

that was the plan for the one above. But it buggered up when I couldn't get that many shades of safety yellow. Maybe Ill have another crack at it.

Safety yellow on travelling cranes, is fairly new. Originally they were just iron brown.

'ere, my first I.mage experience, some loose platforms. not good, but it's something.
edit: allright, this better be cropped. t'ust a minute. oh and, by the way: i used Born Acorn's platforms as a basis, so, just that you know it eh.
