No, it wouldn't. The freight IDs will be used by the ECS.

Good point. That might arise compatibility problems between ECS and all tbe european sets. Every set has a different number and nature of freight wagons, and different IDs are assigned to them from set to set. So I don't really think that including the whole ECS in all the existing european sets could be feasible... Rather, I think that a much better idea would be that each set picks the wagons it needs from here. In other words, the ECS would be an excellent repository set.
Also, some sets might be needing some freight wagons which aren't planned in the ECS. In the French set, for instance, we're planning to put some old-style wagons which (correct me if I'm wrong) aren't planned here... I wonder if the guys at the CDSet (who made the best old-style wagons I've ever seen) would we willing to share some of their work with us?

Is it possible to draw wagons that are the same length as a FULL tile?
I was thinking of drawing a Transwaggon...

It is possible. But it is not beautiful. When those wagons enter a curve, 2/3 of their body will be hanging in the air. George has a link in his page to the Russian trains set, where what they did was to have 2 regular car sprites to form 1 wagon. That way, in the curves, the car looks as if it splits, which is not yet 100% satisfactory, but looks much better than the other feature.

I had a go at it, i think it should use the method quoted, wouldnt look too bad i suppose...

Well, it wouldn't look bad, but a freight wagon designed like that would look longer than passenger carriages in most set (all those who stick to original carriages' lengths). And this would be very odd. For instance, we wouldn't be using that in the French set.
You might still want to include it for use in sets with double-length passenger coaches though.

Apperantly not. I cannot lead this, I tried but I failed.
However, I edited the topic's title, I hope it works

Thx!

But AFAIK we do not have all data, pics etc.
Perhaps you should browse through the whole topic, to see what we got and what we do not got.

OK I'll collect what is in topic, then if something missing, give me other data.
EDIT: at least I need list of vehicles, so I can start to make table.

I think we still need to make a list of vehicles
