Their is a problem with the AmShack station.

Checksum error downloading the Industrial Stations

Hi all,
I've downloaded the new industrial stations for the US set (jcindstaw.zip), but when I unzip this, I get a checksum error for the actual .grf file.
Shame, since these new stations really ROCK!
The Dos version works fine, BTW, I tried that too, but I'm changing over to WinXP this weekend, so I'll be needing the win version from then on.

Redownload it. If that fails, update/change your unzipper. Just tested with WinRAR, and everything appears to be fine.

Of course, I tried redownloading, and I used different zip-progs, but to no avail. I think it would be a good idea if the owner of the file would upload it again.

Did you get the file from the US Set webpage?

Has anyone else gotten the file from there, and had problems with it?

Yes, I got the file from the official US set website.

Hmm. It works fine for me. Can someone else try it and check?

Works great for me too

OK. It's not unheard of that there will be an error displayed for a particular GRF file, when actually the problem is elsewhere. Please tell us your Patch version, and post your newgrfw.cfg file.

The Amshacks works fine with me also

It wasn't the Amshacks that were the problem, it was the industrial stations that were reported as being wrong.

I still can't get the trains to work  but I should have some free time to fiddle with the setup a little more later.
Just wondering if anybody else gets an 'invalid sprite' error message :?:

So many that it's now an FAQ.

Thanks for pointing that page out but I have 2.0.1 alpha 37 and all of the new switches 'on' but it doesn't work.
I will try and solve this problem shortly :)

Are you absolutely certain you have the latest version of the US Set? Because that's what you need to update...

I got the trains working again :D

Patchman: There's been an earlier version :?: :?: :?:
I went to my original version of the file and it was bigger than the one in my game folder for some reason  .
I just used that one instead, but thats where the other one came from in in the first place:?

Oh well. At least it works now :)

That's not the problem. My problem is that the zip for the industrial stations doesn't open properly. So I can't _install_ the file.
It's not that the file doesn't _work_, the problem lies earlier. The zip is reported to have a wrong checksum, by two different zip programs.

So my question is:
Can the makers of the file rezip it and repost it?

TIA,
Jan Willem

Can anybody else test out that ZIP file, to see if there's a problem on the server?
