Ok this is the beggining of my small network (no passengers, I prefer to stick with cargo, less fuss

) but I think it's still not very good (I started the game late so I could build it all in maglevs).
Fell free to rant and make fun of my track (and give some pointers while you're at it

).
PS: Sorry for the small size, couldn't fit it in less zoom and i'm using a BIGMAP

This is my first real attempt at a game on a huge 11x11 map.
After a few test games to see how I could best structure my train network I came up with the following.

These past two networks are very strange, Ive never seen things so square.

I HATE angles... until a time comes where you can cross or bridge an angle I want nothing to do with them.

I know the feeling - I am just the same. Even if it means increasing the distance by up to 50%.

Large station

by UnknownID
This is the largest station I have created so far.

More than 100 trains bring steel, livestock and wheat (also from a VERY long distance)

20 Trucks bring some of the goods to the nearby city

10 Trains bring more goods to a city which is further away (they earn 200.000 + euros each trip

)

10 Airplanes bring the goods even further.

About 20 Ships bring the rest of the goods to a large city on the other side of the map.
I've used
This scenario.

I've recently started playing using the nightly: R1793, which has multistops in it. Check this one out for my busiest lorry station, yes something has gone wrong.
