Train stations != RV stops.

This set only replaces 'original' sprites. There aren't any snow aware RV stations, therefore this set won't have any either ...

The final piece is in ... 1st generation roadblocks, the steam shovel ...

Now, we are waiting for the Canadian stations people to finish their work, then we'll have a brief beta-testing period, after that it'll be all yours to play with ...

Nice work. :) The contrast is a bit hard IMO. Maybe some extra scattered dirt pixels would help. Just my personal feeling.

Meet the new North American Roads Set v0.5 ...

Attached below are NARoads v0.5a (Windows and DOS including a Quick Setup Guide) and the NA Roads User Guide.

Please note, if you are using the Canadian Stations Set together with this roads set, then you will need the CanStn Update v0.3b too; it will be released today. Get it here.

Read the User Guide for more information ...

@krtaylor : you may want to upload this set on your website as a new set or replace the US Roads Set v0.86. The US Roads Set v0.86 is included in NA Roads though. The set is dated 27 July 2007 and the version is v0.5a.

Thanks a lot. :D

EDIT:
Could the dirt road of temperate be more reddish to fit better with grass and city road?
On the same though the Tropic City roads more brown-orange like the current dirt road?

 If we could have road sprites partially covered with snow like terrain tiles. The transition is so ugly. Damn it. ;( Maybe one day in the future...

Very nice ... but looking at that bitumen car park ... have you updated to CanStn v0.3b too ? That car park tile should be 'dirt' automatically. What is the year and what are your parameter settings for NARoads ?

You'll have to take that one up with Zimmlock. I'm not sure, but I think that one was modeled on his RL house.

Nice screen shot Isa. :D

It can't be a teaser. When you took the screenshot, the new version was already released. :P

Oh....Ah.....ermm.......
Well, I like the house actually, its just the garish pink fence that Im not keen on.

Im sure it was a teaser for those of you who hadnt had a chance to download and use the grf ;)

While I don't think there's a strict definition of 'teaser', it's generally seen as something promoting, advertizing or creating interest in an upcoming release.

I was just trying to remind ISA that the use of the word 'teaser' was out of place, considering the fact that there already were many, more extensive teasers before the release of the new version. What is there to tease about when the (free) product is already released, and has already been extensively shown in pre-release stages? What would you think of the picture, labeled as a teaser, that was uploaded days after something's official release, and weeks after the real teasers?

Ermmm..... I would think exactly what I thought of Isa's shot...
I havent used it yet so I felt quite interested by Isa'S shot and it has made me look forward to using it more. Although your definition is partly correct, it could still be a teaser to those who havent used the set or those who havent seen previous images. It depends on the situation of the person looking at the picture. :)
Anyway, we digress yet again....

Now, that's much better. I'm glad it wasn't a bug.
