Yes it's normal for now. Some useful info:
1. This will change in FIRS 0.3. Players will have the option to disable industry closure (for both primary and secondary industries).
2. Secondary industries shouldn't close if they have good service.
3. Primary industries shouldn't close if supplies are regularly delivered.
Industry closure in TTD / OpenTTD is very annoying, which is why giving players the option to disable it is a priority for FIRS 0.3. I can't say when that will be released though.
Primary industry closure was so annoying that I disabled it in a nightly build of the grf, that can be downloaded here

With the default TTD/OTTD settings, the closest station will take all the resources. A solution to this is to install the CargoDest patch, which will distribute cargo based on the needs of the industry.

If there are 2 or more industries in the catchment area, only the nearest industry will receive the goods. This is a limitation in OpenTTD for performance reasons.
You can get around it by using transfer orders and deliver the final step using trucks (one truck station at each industry). This also helps with delivering supplies at the correct frequency (minimum 1t is needed every month).

I am trying that patch. I dont know, if this is older version of game or what, but it changed my "font style". I know how to change font style/size, but whats the name of that font style?

CargoDest is indeed a bit older. But what font style are you looking for?
It might be possible that CargoDest uses some characters that are not represented in your base graphics set. In that case, the game selects a font file from your system, usually Tahoma.

ARGH. Sorry, I didn't mean CargoDEST (cargo destination) , I meant CargoDIST (cargo distribution) (
link here). Curses at those who made two similar-sounding projects!!!

Actually to my knowledge using Cargodist wouldn't solve the problem. It is true that cargo gets a destination, but that destination is a station, not a specific industry. Everything beyond that is handled the same way as it is in plain OpenTTD. So as far as I know the problem with multiple industries accepting the same cargo at a single station remains unchanged there. But I only remember vaguely that someone asked about that a couple of (or couple of dozen) pages ago (I tried to find the post in the thread). To be sure you can just ask in the corresponding thread (linked to by the previous post here)
In any case: I'd recommend using Cargodist anyway, as it adds a whole level of depth to the game!

ok, it only makes it, if there are more stations which accept same cargo, i will must transport some to "A", some to "B", some to "C"..... but at the stations it still go to the nearest industry, right?

That's right. The only solution, as said above, is to transfer the supplies to trucks that will each have a station at a different industry, providing each of them with some of the cargo.

That is the default TTD font. Please remove all font names from openttd.cfg and make sure that you have a language selected that does not require an alternative font to be loaded (e.g. switch to English to see if there's a difference).

Fishing!
I ended up using the utility vessels as a trawler as that was the most suitable looking ship. I realise all the bigger ships can carry fish but they don't look right to my eye. Its ironic that FISH doesn't (as yet) really support fishing
One other point - the fishing grounds produce tons & tons of fish. Perhaps they should be treated like farms so as to promote use of smaller boats?
Cheers
Bob

The utility vessel was drawn by DanMacK as a fishing trawler, so that's highly appropriate

I've thought of disabling Fish for some of the larger boats in FISH, as it would look silly to have them 'fishing' in game, but it would prevent them being used for some perfectly reasonable transfer routes

We've discussed reducing the production. There's no way for players to boost output of fishing grounds, so we don't want to go too low with it. We can't cluster them too much because the tiles will interfere with shipping routes.

Why are there two trains in the bottom shot that can go nowhere?

i believe they're transfers, or something to artificially bump the station rating (don't try this in normal mulitplayer games!)
