And how do i open that?

winrar?
if you want to draw some rails, please use the same system i used for the roads (example: straight roads with studs on the borders and smooth in the middle)

Well, i got one piece of track made.
I don't know if you wanted ballest or not, so you can see both and pick which you like better.

Needs a lot of work dude.
Examine this:

I used black sleepers because that's what the lego ones are.

I didn't know. But they look better in brown color. (Personal opinion).

lego have gray sleepers
nice work

i think that rail without soil or pebbles should be right, else they look too much dark and is difficult to see the sleepers
the rail is not centered, follow the white rabb...ehm line of the roads to find the center

I just did a google search and found that most are gray, with the odd few being other colours (such as black).
How's this?

Oh, and it's really creepy with that "follow the white rabbit" bit you were gonna type.
It's creepy because I'm watching The Matrix at this vary moment.
<edit 2>
Did abit more work, looks like I will have to redo the sleepers on the track so they don't overlap on the edges.

Vertical rails are very thick.

if the rails are made 1 pixel thick, they jump from left to right on the diaganal

I think it's actually pretty good. but tracks are best judged when you see them in a screenshot (or mock-up), so you can compare them to other things.
I think the wobbly diagonal sleepers look a bit weird though

They could use some anti-aliasing too...

i'll try to draw some rails to use as a guideline when i'll have some spare time
if you want to continue to draw rails try different techniques, that's what i do, i change my ideas very frequently so i need to compare what is the best, what to keep and what to redraw
@Leviath.NL:
i think i'll redraw some of the angle slopes to make them more tileable because i found that the piramid slope you can terraform by raising a corner is too high of 1 stud, but i need to test it more to see if it doesn't break other layouts

they are simply too high

if i lower them, also a 3x3 hill with smooth top will look more smooth at the edges, instead of a rectangle
Code: Select all

xxxxx
xxxxx
xxx
instead of
xxxxx

Here is a tar with which should be the final version of the ground tiles. Wolf01 will be working on the rough terrain next.

Slye_Fox: did you try if a train fits in the rail? it seem so large
