nope, i will try again when i clean my grf folder out, part of the problem is that whileys converter requires that win grfs have a w at the end.

anyone ever found the eastereggs?

Hi.

I'm a complete n00b at this, but I think I've got everything sorted properly.

I'm using TTD with TTDPatch, then the new graphics thing installed also. Finally I've put the fttoc.grf in the newgrf/ directory. Then I edited the config file to load it at the start.

However, I can't get this pack to work - it gives me an error:

Error loading new graphics:
File "newgrf/fttoc.grf" has invalid sprite #653


What am I doing wrong?

One question: what version of TTDP are you using?
If you haven't got the latest version (currently 2.5 beta 8), grab it here: http://www.ttdpatch.net/src/

I'm using OpenTTD, and the names are getting replaced (Gresley --> Ginzu) Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Try this grf, it may correct your problem.

It corrected that one, but added another. The old engines I was looking for didn't show up.

Could you tell me all the names that are replaced, or is Gresley to Ginzu the only one? I need this information so I can encode a custom version for you.

Okay.

Trains:

Jinty class --> Chippy class
Stanier Crab --> Chaney Oak
Gresley A3/D49 --> Ginzu A3/D49
Bulleid Q1 --> Jimmie Q1

Road Vehicles:

Leyland Lion --> Hereford Lion

I set my language to Original vehicle names, ad the names that come with OTTD aren't getting replaced (ie there's no Collett Pannier Tank --> Kirby Paul Tank). Using the orignal English language doesn't help either. If it'll help, I use OpenTTD r8172M.

Well, when I added TT Original vehicles, i gave to them names in TT Deluxe style. If community want TT Original style names, feel free to change that.

In TTDPatch, certainly. In OTTD, not until newindustry support.

Didn't someone do it so the farm didn't have any fields?

After looking at the NFO again, I noticed I had misread it (I saw only one "Ginzu"). So you were clear enough.
I have uploaded the updated file, I did not test it but it should be ok.

Ach. I tested it, and ended up with two D49s. The one that was supposed to be A3 was accidentally named D49.

Maybe I'll fix that tomorrow, if I have time. Also, your posts made me to start thinking about this set again, let's call them updates . This is what I had in my mind:
Change ALL vehicle names to the original TTO ones.
Some minor enhancements to the monorail.
