there are a few glitches, which shouldnt be to hard to spot, but other than that, fantastic work

Is there any way that we can name those stations a bit clearer?
I couldn't make out any logic so far and it seams difficult to find the same station again.

Suggestions for better names for individual stations, are always appreciated.

Greetings. I was very much impressed by the project. In fact, while browsing the pictures topic I was always wondering where one could find stations like gravel ones etc. They didn't turn up in any of the files I've tried so far. At last I've found a link back to as-st.com/ttd and - to my surprise - they were there, such a pleasant surprise.
As I read the site I've noticed the General Freight station, which I was looking for for ages. But unfortunately

the station didn't show up in the building menu together with the others (country, suburban, etc.).
I wish someone could tell me what's the matter. Is it the station that is called "Wrexham" and disabled according to the readme? Or did I make anything wrong? I'm using a45 with several station sets (MB's 0.2, USSet etc) and everything works fine. Or is it just that I failed to notice something in the documentation?
Thanks in advance.

Whats so dificult about the way its layed out now?
A set such as the country stations of Astaths arent restricted to a set class any more, instead, the classes are split up by the type of station it is. This cuts back a considerable amount of work and makes it a great deal more compatible with other station sets, somthing I am very big on. Just browse through and get used to how its layed out, it isnt very difficult really.
Oleg: Wrexham hasnt been coded yet, I half coded it a while ago, but it was lost due to a crash, and the sprites I used had tesselation issues. So I have to start again on them anyway. The other stations you mention are not a part of this set, and I see no practical reason behind re-coding them any time soon, despite the fact that Northfolk has said that we can use his stuff IIRC. Maybe later, who knows.
Krtaylor: Im all for renaming stations, but their needs to be consistancy among it all, we'll discuss it all later, but now, I gotta go to bed in 5mins.
GeoC: Thanks for the comment, and yeah, the glitches are all known, but I think I may have an idea on how to fix it. But then again, Ive gone through hundreds of ideas on how to fix it

.
Cheers all for your compliments.

Tnanks for your replies but unfortunately I still can't get the matter.
I mean
this station:

.
It's not part of the USStations set according to
http://as-st.com/ttd/stations/screenshots.html.
I wonder if it is the
General Freight station which should already be working. I've seen people here post screenshots with the General Freight station, and I just wanted to use it too.

It was the one with the brown bridge with wondows over the top (cant think of the name at the moment)
for some reason, only half the bridge is shown, and its inverted all over the place

its not hard not to see
Keep it up, though, great coding

i think the idea of the '(I)' for island and the like is a lot easier now. It looks like there is so much space

The artist, Jezulkim, requested it to be replaced with the sprits that now make the Modern sheds.
Geo.C: I'll check it out

Personally I would like to see both versions included - we might as well. The brown ones look older, maybe 1921 - 1950; then the steel ones; then the flat-roofed ones.

hmmm I have bad news and good news.
The bad news first:
I lost my hard drive and all data on it. This includes the entire iron ore station spriteset which was jsut about ready for submission in both directions.
The good news:
I managed to c&p all sprites out of the last mock up. and just for backup purposes, here they are

Concrete platform canopies. These are to go with a station I'm doing for the US set but if it's not too much duplication they might find a home here too?

Don't see why not. But I think, can you improve the definition of the platforms, by putting stuff on them? I mean, rubbish bins, maybe the odd bench, newspaper vending machines, etc.? Or in the US, debris.

Yeah, will add details later. I've got subway ramp entrances on the go but I'm not totally happy with them yet.
I kind of like the sparse, clean look though

that could be a good idea for benches. theres actually n benches on any stations (i could be mistaken) but they must be tricky to draw. because they are so small.

Do you have a real iron ore mine that you're modeling?

by Born Acorn
Yes, but from memory. I had a photo of my Grandfather standing next to a BR steam engine in an iron ore mine. (he was a fireman) Of course the station would have actually been integrated to the mines, but you get the basic picture.
here are previews for my next project - a switchyard.
I will be following up with tiles with certain train wagons on the sidings.
