I usually searched for specific sounds with some keywords and never really started to search for the sounds for toyland, so if there's stuff I have not searched for it.

Hmm... I already have a sound packaged; guess I need to check which one is better in game now.

Added to the repository, again thanks for the samples.

This sample seems to have an electric/mains/power line hum which makes it, at least for me, more annoying to listen to that the current sample. Although this sample sounds a bit more like the sifting sugar instead of the flour that is being sifted in the current sample. I've got no clue how one can remove the hum from your sample because then it would be really better.

And the final toy factory sound.

*edit*
And a modified version of my sugar mine. I harshly cropped around the shake sounds to cut out the metallic bg noise...

Yay... now only vehicle sounds, unless we use the 'normal' climate sounds; guess we can use that as final fallback.
The sugar mine/sieve sounds much better that way, i.e. I've added it to the repository.

I'm trying to get my hands on the OpenSFX versions of the road vehicle start noises (ie. samples 28, 29, 30 , 31) to add some comedy noises to for toyland but I am struggling. Every time I try to download them from the repo (
http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/opensfx/repository) I get a file which my programs think is corrupted (VLC and Audacity)... Could you post them here? Or do you have any idea what is going wrong?
*edit* some more info:
Whn I try and download the .wav files I get an html file with a .wav extension (Firefox 3.5.5, Windows 7). Where am I supposed to download the file from?

When at e.g.
http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/ope ... sfx_00.wav you have to select download. I think you try to 'download' a level too early.

Probably from that very html file which you try to download. Download links have the form of

Toyland truck start SFX 1 and 2:

I hope these bus and truck sounds are ok.. They are literally just silly sounds over the existing OpenSFX truck/bus sounds!

So you mean that the sample of the non-toyland OpenSFX sounds is used too?
