Okay, when you find out make sure you add the info in the wiki as well.

I am not using "official" materialsBad_Brett wrote:Thank you! What a relief. Now I can concentrate on the design instead of learning Blender.Wacki wrote: I am using 3ds max too. And I make there everything!!! Only what you must set in materials - you must go to DIFFUSE COLOUR -> OUTPUT -> RGB OUTPUT = 0.3
If you have any other question, ask me or Ben.Anyway, I'm sure I read that everything has to be exported to .blend. Has that changed?
I'll PM Ben Robbins and ask for the materials, because I didn't find them.
By the way, I sat here last night and browsed through your work and it looks truly awesome. Are there any sprites and materials for the trees you are using?

I forgot to answer your question about animation. Its supported. You should check out George's ECS vectors. Animation is seen when you build an industry (eg: facory , tourist resort) and also during a game (eg: vehicle factory).Bad_Brett wrote:Here's an update. Cool, will do! And sorry for shocking you!blitzkrieg wrote: I forgot to answer your question about animation. Its supported. You should check out George's ECS vectors. Animation is seen when you build an industry (eg: facory , tourist resort) and also during a game (eg: vehicle factory).
Hope this helps you. Also colored mine would look much better...
I know what you're saying. I'm aware of the problem. The reason I made it so high is because I because I wanted to get a better level effect. The main building should of course be down in a trench and the mountains should be at about the same level as the surroundings. I will try to edit it so that it looks a bit more realistic. This is one of the hardest parts when modelling, to get a good balance of realism and eye candy.doktorhonig wrote:Will it fit into the landscape well? The borders on the back are on another level.
I think you should either make it larger to make a slope on the backside, or make it lower, with a small hill and an entry for the tracks.
And looking at your work, that wouldn't be a bad thing... come on,. you know you want to!Plastikman wrote:stunning... if this keeps up, I might jump the lomo ship and make ttd stuff....
