Better use the White House for what it stands for. (Biggest city in map only has this building as is the "capital" or cities use it as a town hall like Simutrans.)

First in-game screenshots.

In general my decision is final. The buildungs are HQs. So please no comments regarding other stuff!

Now I need a few ideas for the remaining HQs. Some ideas?

The idea is that the memorial is the "biggest" HQ and the White House the HQ before. So you get a memorial after you have been in the White House. ;)
Well, in my opinion the White House should be the top job. Both look good but surely having a memorial as an HQ for a transport company is both weird and impractical, there's no space!

Edit: with regard to other buildings... the empire state?

Hm, would surely be nice, but I must pay attention to the size of the HQ. The size is limited cause of the limeted sprites.

I converted the memorial to a bank. So the White House is the biggest HQ.

REQUEST: Please provide me with ideas for the replacement. Pictures would be nice too.
  • I need:
  • smallest HQ
  • small HQ (what about a petrol station?)
  • medium HQ
  • big HQ
  • 2nd bank building (what about the jefferson memorial?)
  • statue

I think in all cases the HQs should be developed as offices. The size of the office should be the differing point.

1st - House
2nd - Shops and Offices
3rd - 4/5 story office building
4th - some big ass place, really expensive looking.

I don't think really think it's a good idea to use these as HQs, really. I just find the idea a bit silly.

You can use it or not! Be more constructive!

Looks good! I think it'll fit with the medium HQ.

To high (will cause problems while drawing or ugly scale). But good idea.

Also nice but a bit to large what about:

Hm, it's nice, but in vienna. I think the buildings should exist in the USA.

EDIT:
What about this:

Sure, look at my edit. I thought at a shop like this. But WTH is a 4/5 story office building?

You yanks probably don't have Shop *and* offices in the same building do you?
and by "4/5 story building" i mean a Four or Five story building.

I searched only for inspiration and thought that the area could be split in two parts. One for a small office and one for a small shop like the link. So two seperate buildings on the full area.

Besides I'm no Yank, I'm a Kraut.

No we can see that White House is OK, but L. Memorial shading needs to be fixed. There is no contrast between bright and darker side.

Hello Skidd13!

About the UNO-City in Vienna: First I thought of the UNO-Headquater in NY, but that is very tall and looks boring. Then I rememberd the UNO-Building in Geneve, Swiss. This is not very interesting too.
So I came on Vienna UNO-City building. OK, its not in USA, I'm sorry.
Perhaps, there will be an european HQ-Set in futur, with only european buildings, such as the Vienna UNO-City or the HQ of EU in Bruxels...
I think, that will take some time, but I'm looking foreward to it.

Attached three diffrent edits. The lower line is the updated, the upper line is the original to compare.

@N8king: Maybe there will be another HQ set ;)

Update:

I think this is a nice replacement for the second HQ.

After a break I needed to draw a bit for this replacement again... So here is a mockup of the current work. I didn't find any really nice photos so it might have some differences referring to the original (Flat Iron Building - NY). Of cause it (the original) has no CC. :)
