Just a question, how old is "Flevoland" ???
Posted: 22 Jan 2005 12:45
by Visscher
In 1986 it was officialy formed. I dont know if the land was there before that time, i only know that flevoland was settled in that year.

So it might be needed to remove it in the 1960 and 1935 scenarios?

I seem to be having trouble with this map and the newest version of the NL set (both available right now) in that when I try to launch either scenario it says I'm missing 'NLDDAR78'. Which to me is pretty odd, as the NL set only includes an DDAR 74. I'm plugging away with the various tools but is there some extra vehicle I've missed?

I've looked it up and there *is* such a thing as a DDAR-7800 but I've not been able to find any record of one existing for Lomo. Bah!

by chevyrider
The DARR-7800 was in the first versions of the NL set.
Its name is now NLMDDM.dat.
Perhaps you could make a copy of that, and rename it to nlddar78.dat?
I don't now if that works, other wise try to ask Scrat.

It doesn't work

I just don't know what to do? If I download the newest NL Trainset and install this, it is nog enough... Why? The right files should be in the latest package of the NL Trainset.
I just don't know ...

I've tried that, unfortunately it looks at the name of the vehicle contained within the file, not just the filename. (I'm very thorough when trying to get this sorta thing working)
It should be Spijker who fixes this, as someone who follows his instruction to have the newest NL set and the fixed version of his map won't be able to enjoy it.

Sorry for the late reply.. uhm.. i could contact opie or scrat and ask which train it is.. So I could remove it for people who have the latest version of the NL Trainset..

Im taking it you guys are trying real hard to make good maps.. good on ya, im from australia and have started to make maps like you guys, and was wondering if u had any tips on whats a faster way of adding water.. I know that in TTD the water just added it self when the level of the land was the same as the sea, but now it seems to be like roller coaster tycoon 1 and 2 (all very good games.. use brain power)
P.S. nice work on translations
