Which one do you mean? The top one is a wooden carriage, so it should be on the brighter side of brown, the bottom one (Fiat MU) does look a bit bright on the green background - I'll have to test them in the game to se how they really look. Latest version of the Fiat below (some different liveries depending on the year).

hmm, i meant the upper wooden one. they grey parts could be darkened i think. nevertheless, the Fiat and the other cars look stunning!

The texture on the roof looks especially appealing.

So, how about this? One step darker on the roof:

hmm, it could be me, but i think it's still too bright. the (metal?) racks on the front and back for instance, shouldn't those be far more towards black?

Darkened the metal a bit more (se edited post above). One more livery for the Fiat, tweaks, and I got the .grf fixed.
X40 is now built with CTRL-buy for each extra wagon, and the graphics fix themselves into the proper combination of A, B or M(iddle) wagon. Only some combinations are allowed, try anything else and you will notice
The Fiat has been coded for livery refit (Yay! Another NFO concept (more or less) understood).
I was thinking, shouldn't this thread be split? I more or less hijacked the 'mini-Swedish' thread after the first few pages, and has been going on since. But as it is not my thread, I can't update first post or the title, something which would be handy. Thoughts anyone?

I don't see it that way; you are welcome to continue this project. Feel free to start a new topic, put a final post with link in here and then have it locked.

@DanMacK: Whatever happened to the Dm3? Has it been released without my noticing? I really would like to see both Dm3 and Dm2 on my layouts.

It got lost in the shuffle of my "to-do" list... lol Let me have another look at it.

since AndersI is the main person busy with this set, i suggest a new topic by him is opened for the Swedish Trainset. that way he can more or less manage things better.
AndersI: your work is amazing man. those freight car sprites are the best i've seen since MB and Pikka's material. best thing would be to get yourself a coder and focus on the graphics. steamers for instance are a very valuable asset to any set, even though i know most of Sweden was electrified before 1920. but this is one of the sets that truly deserves to become something in a state of finishedness. t'is only advice, but think about it.

OK, I will continue discussing my Swedish trains in a new thread (originated by me)
here.
