that's a shame, as your work (Can set and the like) is excellent but to most OTTD users, if it's not on Bananas, it doesn't exist

AFAIK it is not possible to remove stuff from BANANAS - it would prevent people from being able to download the set in order to be able to open an old savegame or multiplayer server, etc...

It's no harder than making a forum account

IMO it's really worth it for a big-famous-set-creator like yourself, you can watch your downloads shoot above 100,000! (heck even my lousy old GES has 78000

)

Just update the existing entry, ask
Rubidium@openttd.org to add/move you as author to the set, when done, the old version isn't downloadable over the usual way anymore.

Hi all,
I was hoping i can get a bit of extra help with these tunnels. The graphics have been loaded and look just like what they should, however i am still unable to build tracks over the top of the tunnels. Is there anything else i need to do to have it working properly? If not, any suggestions on what the problem may be? even if its something as simple as the order in which i build the tunnels in game, I'm just not sure why its not working and any help would be appreciated greatly.

You're using OpenTTD? If so, then this set will only provide the graphics. OpenTTD doesn't understand the concept of "enhanced tunnels".
In case you're using TTDPatch and can't build enhanced tunnels, check your ttdpatch.cfg, as most likely you have it disabled there.

As FooBar said, OTTD will not accept the graphics 'properly'. So really, the only 'quick how to/directions' I could give you would be to get TTDPatch.

Is it possible to simply switch from open to patch? If so I'd definitely give that a go.
If it's too complicated to do that and maintain save data from open, then I wont worry about it as I'm sure I'll stuff it up somehow and continue to annoy helpful people like yourself with seemingly stupid questions.

There is no such thing as a stupid question.
Are you looking to run an OpenTTD saved game or scenario under TTTDPatch? Or are looking to copy game settings from one platform to the other? Or perhaps both?
I may be wrong, but I do not think that these are possible.

I was hoping i could continue playing my saved games from open with enhanced tunnels working properly in any way possible. It looks like its shaping up to be a fairly complicated and long process if it even works at all so i think i might just leave it and make do with the tunnels as they are.

You can't play OpenTTD savegames in TTDPatch. The other way round usually doesn't work either; only TTDPatch savegames with very little new stuff can be loaded by OpenTTD.
Anyways, if you want to give TTDPatch a try, check this:

Cannot update v1.2 via GRF downloads within OpenTTD. Needs updating as have to update manually.

Only v1.0 was uploaded to the Fruit Store by the authors/maintainers of this Grf. To get the latest version (v1.3) you will have to sign up at

You can't with trunk OTTD. To do so, you need either TTDP, or a patched version of OTTD which allows enhanced tunnels*.
*Not currently available.
Edit: Corrected 'custom tunnel entrances'??? to enhanced tunnels. I think it is time for bed.

"trunk" means "latest development version". Also called "nightly" (at least for this purpose, it's not entirely the same).
And anyone can make an update to have tracks on tunnel entrances in OpenTTD. It's just that nobody tried to do that recently. Either because nobody is interested in it or because those who are interested don't want to learn the skill to make it happen. There may be previous attempts but these will most likely not work with any recent version of the game.
