Open mkpttxt.exe, which comes with every proper release of the patch, and run it. It should always be sitting in your TT directory anyway, which is where you unzip the patch to.
It just runs, then closes itself, and all is well. I dunno what it does, and I don't need to know. As long as nothing breaks, all is well

If you are referred to me, Flamelord, that is okay. Next time i will do better ^_^ Thank for edit, flamelord. Again thank to dalestan for tips, I will find it THANKS!

That was kinda the point. If you didn't notice, I posted that the proper image would be "~43k". Yours is "43.77k". That's a little more accurate than I would expect for a random guess.

Well, that was the point. Since those currencies are borked I can't, for example, replace one of them with CZK.

So, you'd like me to remove it so he can figure out how to do so? Or is it moot at this point?

Weirdy are you sure you did run the mkpttxt.exe that came with the patch version you are trying to run ? (ie did you overwrite the old version while unpacking the patch)
If you're not 100% sure, just unpack that patchversion once more, including mkpttxt.exe, and then try to run it (mkpttxt.exe) once more.

Besides, that's just a warning, not an error. If you don't re-run mkpttxt or it fails for some reason, the patch will still load, just not with any translated texts. So this is definitely not causing the patch to fail in any way.

Yep, done that, but it still crashes.
(Please see the mkpttxt.jpeg)

Oh really?
Have a look at the error box and then the crash log.
Again, thanks for your help, or atleast attempting to help, i know i can be perticularly rude.

I have troubles too with mkpttxt.exe: I edit the ttdpttxt.txt or similar and execute mkpttxt.exe but nothing gets traducted. And the strings that I traduced previously backs to english again (the "alpha feature's" texts seems that are the ones that come back to english). And at the time of editing the hotkeys, the dos and win texts are different both in content and size

. I have this:
Code: Select all
; hotkeylistdos="xqwe!\"$%t&1234567890'¡\1e\\\00"
; hotkeylistwin="xqwe!\"·$t%1234567890'¡ºç\00"
What shortcut is each one (like the 'q' is for slow the speed, the 'e' for increasing and the 'w' for normal speed). I searched this in the wiki but there are only a short description that doesn't explain each character. I will search now and if I find something I delete this post-sector.
I have TTDPatch A69 Pre1 in WinXP SP2

I did. You probably didn't, or you're reading "mkpttxt" in the error message where it's written in gray colour on gray background. The last line of the crash log clearly indicates what the problem is, and confirms that it has nothing to do with mkpttxt.exe.
Anyway, try alpha 69, and if it still crashes even without that .grf file referenced in the crash log, please post your ttdpatch.cfg, newgrfw.cfg and any relevant savegame(s).

There's an error in older versions of the NARS which a69 chokes on;
redownloading the set should fix your crash.

The track over tunnel entrance is really nice. Now we can build really compact non-clover leaf crossings.
Also, maglev over tunnel entrance looks funny.

The maglev's graphics look WEIRD with it. I wonder when the graphics from that other thread are coming out?
