It is a RL WIP project for Moscow for the World Cup in 2018 (may be introduced even earlier) so it will be certainly included.

Don't worry, the "Darth Vader tram" will be in our set... :mrgreen:

117 trams alltogether! We'll definitely have a nice wide set! :D

Further suggestions, please. Especially for cargo trams. :wink:

Not Cargo, nor a Concept, but I would like to see either one of Manchester's recent tram types (the Ansaldo T68 or the Bombardier Felxity Swift M5000. Of course, being a Manc, I may be biased, but I think that the T68 is important in British Light Rail/Tram history, being part of the first modern tramway in Britain.

The T-68 is a good call, added it to the table. I think we're all filled up on Flexity trams, though.

Great progress going on here! Looks like you've covered all the bases. :D

I found some more futuristic concept trams:
Alstom Loop tram possibly for Paris or Barcelona

A futuristic double deck tram Not tied to an actual city, just a concept art though

As for cargo trams, are you planning to implement industrial-style trams similar to the ones in HEQS? Or just urban freight trams?
In either case, I found a couple:

This one (former V class)used to run in Melbourne:

Later configuration:

This one runs in Zurich:

This one in Vienna:

I've been trying to convince Voyager One to hold off on cargo trams and make it an entirely separate set. In addition to the VW CarGoTram and the Amsterdam City Cargo project, I do have the stats for the Vienna and Zurich trams you posted, as well as various US-based interurban freight trams and a variety of other work trams built in Vienna. Didn't have the melborne ones, though, those definitely look nifty hacks of the W-Series.

Going back over my tracking table, there's a few more UK trams that could be added if I could find their complete stats.

Blackpool English Electric "Pantograph" - Built from 1921-1929, retired in 1961, I just need the weight (Mt), power (hpM), speed (km/h) and maybe some good side views. All the views I can find seem to be front-on.

Blackpool English Electric Boat Cars - Built and rebuilt since 1934 and currently in heritage use. Another iconic Blackpool fleet, I'm missing weight and max speed.

British Double-Deck Trams - Built by various companies including G.F. Milnes, United Electric Car Co, British Electric Car Co, Brush Electric Car Co, English Electric Car Co, Wigan Corporation, and Blackpool Corporation, between 1900 and 1930. These come in both open-top and closed-top varieties and mostly look the same. They're typically built by stacking a pair of "Metropolitan" or "Maximum Traction" style car bodies on top of each other. I would need full stats (intro & exit years, weight, power, speed, seating capacity [seat+standing] and images).

Guys, please let's not try going over the limit. The list is already comprehensive and exausting regarding all time periods and continents. If we start thinking like "please add this one because I'm from that city", then expect another 500 trams, there's no way to satisfy everyone's wishes without going too far. Heck, I'll add another 15 from Croatia alone...

And let me be blunt and possibly rude - you've had plenty of time to suggest things, no offense anyone.

I'll add the T68, no problem but please suggest only those things I've asked you - future concepts and cargo trams.

Also, no offense anyone, I can't and won't even consider suggestions without 4/5ths of all necessary stats. BTW, I've erased several my own findings from the list because of exactly this - total lack of stats.
---

To answer specific suggestions:
- T68 - I've researched it before and discarded it but OK, I'll do it anyway (but I'll draw it in a Manchested United livery :mrgreen: A321 knows what I'm talking about, hahahaha!);
- Alstom Loop Tram - missing most stats therefore no until they're found;
- Futuristic Double-deck Tram - I've discarded this one myself because of total lack of stats. I've found only the capacity of the tram and BTW this one is intended for Stockholm by year 2025 - in any case - discarded;
- Melbourne No.17 freight tram - I wasn't able to find stats and those from the V-class cannot be applied;
- Zurich cargotram - most stats missing;
- Vienna cargo tram - most stats missing;

So, as you see, most are problematic because of missing stats. I'll sound rude once again but please do your homework before suggesting. I'm already drawing these in a way "for you", don't let all this work fall on me. :wink:

Please, no offense meant...

EDIT and P.S.
Regarding cargo trams - I'm not interested in overshadowing Andy's HEQS cargo trams. CITY CARGOES ONLY.

for the zurich cargo tram, the stat seems quite hard to find effectively, but after some research here what i found (wich might help for the stat)

it seems the actual zurich cargo trams use to be numbered 1351, also known as kuberli, built from 1940 to 1954, the base model is the "schweizer standardwagen".

It became a snowplough around 1980, and finally a cargo tram in 2003.

some source say that the cargo tram is made heavier with 2 tons of ballast, i guess to increase torque or something like that.

but no where i have found something telling they have modified the engines...so unless someone found more infos, i gess you can still use the schweizer standardwagen as a base for the stat (+2 tons) ;) (the third link have the stats)

edit : resume of stats : 212 kw; 18 tons (+2 tons); capacity 27 seats + 73 standing up (this cargo tram was initially a passenger trams).
edit 2 : the capacitry for freight is unclear, cause they use it to pick up garbage (so the load vary a lot), but it seems 12 tons was their biggest load....wich seems really little for ottd...

As I mentioned a few posts ago, I already have the stats for both the Vienna GuterBim and the Zurich Cargo Tram. I didn't put them on the list since both are used for garbage/recycling and don't haul city cargo.

Put them in kamnet. These two can be "tweaked" for city cargoes IMO.
romazoon wrote:but it seems 12 tons was their biggest load....wich seems really little for ottd...
Well, that seems like a small 20' container and keep in mind that this one isn't for "regular" garbage but, as I've understood it, for bulky garbage which causes a lot of empty space in between (try packing a few sofas in a box :mrgreen: ). So actually, 12 tons out of an approx. 28 tons that a 20' container can usually take... that's 40%, not bad at all.
... and you know that OTTD stats are usually a little bit bigger than RL stats... :wink:

In any case, thanks for all that info!

Don't put Rooney's face on it, it'll blind so many people with his ugliness :lol: And I think the T68s suit blue more than red :mrgreen:
