The set currently does not support tropics and sub-arctic climates fully, so there might be some default trucks available.
Later, when the pre-1950 trucks being added, the climate support will fully make and the default vehicles will fully disabled.

Oh, and currently not support any industry GRFs, I'd like to wait for a stable release of FIRS, and then I do the missing cargoes for it and for the ECS.

I get the same problem even in temperate

Well, the original vehicle disabling thingy is broken too, so it needs to be fixed to the next version... Until then, just don't use the original trucks :wink:

I don't know if this is a bug but today I realised that trucks from your set are not able to overtake other road vechicles :?

Only articulated vehicles cannot take over another vehicle, but this keeps up in other vehicle sets (I tried it with eGRVTS and German Road vehicles set), so I think the error isn't in my set.

I wouldn't expect that a truck pulling a trailer would pass cars and lighter trucks on one-lane roads anyhow. :-)

Well that may be in Europe but on highways and on roads where passing is allowed I think a transport truck would pass a smaller vehicle or another slower truck.

Also, is the truck set fixed?

As i'm thinking, I think I found the reason of why the atriculated vehicles cannot overtake anything: the game can't move both parts from the normal lane to the other.

Polish truckers drive crazy there in Hungary too, as the others too :D
So, the problem is in the game, the GRF can't do anything with it.

It's fixed more than a week ago, it's fully working now (but still has glitches).

Hi Colossal404,

Your Truck set is awesome ! I was not less expecting from a set made by you (i'm a big user and fan of the ikarus bus set).

I can't wait for a release with ECS industry compatibility... any chance you know when that might happen?

Umm, not so soon, but hopefully in this year, with the earlier trucks (1924-1950) too.

Hello fellow OTTD players :)

I've been reading these forums for some time now but I got the problem that I can't solve.

When using Hungarian Truck Set 2.1 on OTTD 1.10 or ge164f4b3 ( cargodest build from 10th April ) some trucks( like Kamaz 5410 or Man F2000 ) are using toyland sounds which is annoying :x

I've tried Default sounds and OpenSFX

please help :bow: :D

I've noticed a problem with Hungarian truck set 2.1: All the vehicles have the same price and running costs. Is that normal?

Yes, I already noticed that too, it's another error with callbacks. It will be fixed.
