Architects usually use their imagination to avoid a dull building. What you could do for example is create a corner that doesn't have brick but just plain glass. That could be either the cantine or the CEO's office. You can also expiriment with balconies or "erkers" about half the height or higher. Such an "erker" (you know what I mean, fellow-dutchman  ) could be of a different colour either.

EDIT: some pics to illustrate what I mean (for non-dutchies perhaps).

@Hyronymus, thx for the examples, btw do you notice how smouth the buildings are. we make our constructions way to dirty.

I have made a new building what ll replace the Officeblock block. This original building is a real enfant terrible. Hope the building i made can be a good replacement.

That kicks ass! About clean buildings: ever seen De Peperclip or Zwarte Madonna? They are so fricking dirty. But most officed are kept tidy indeed.

Thats right, but criminals do, a police and or a firestation is a nice idea, only problem is that in TTD allmost all buildings are generated more then once. But ill keep it in mind 8)

Have the Officeblock finished.

Is it possible to make buildings use random livery?that way you could have many kinds of buildings for same building type.

No (unless it becomes a patch feature), I think the only random thing is the "company" colour.

Any chances for replacements of those dull, repetetive, boring suburban houses?

If you guys would like to draw American-looking office buildings, we'd be glad to include them in the US set.

I make buildings not to a certain example. Does a US officeblock look verry diffrent than a European Officeblock? The city i am constructing can be situated every where.

Cool those ofice buildings look realy nice but isn't that a copyrighted stuff :?

Buildings do NOT look the same everywhere. For instance, that cylindrical yellow tower looks more Japanese. If that's yours, I'd like to use it in the Japan set. The white office building looks European, British maybe. The one with the pyramidal points on top looks American and I'd like to use that, if it's yours.

The cilyndrical building that zimmlock created looks very similiar to the one in Vilnius city.So it's not "Only japanese" kind of building  .

No, of course not. But real cities have dozens, if not hundreds, of buildings, so one single building in a different style won't change the character of the entire city. TTD only has a few building styles, so for a city to look right, you have to pick the buildings with much more care. The yellow cylinder looks Japanese. May we use it in the Japan set?
