The latest version of this grf doesn't replace the buses. Make sure you're using Generic Cars v0.4 and not v0.1.bman wrote:Why does it have to replace the buses though? I can't really use it because I use buses a lot.
Ah yes, that would indeed be the solution. I kinda forgot that you also can go higher than the default IDs with the engine pool.andythenorth wrote:No they can be preservedFooBar wrote:That is how NewGRF works. Odd, that's what it says in the in-game content thing.PaulC wrote:The latest version of this grf doesn't replace the buses. Make sure you're using Generic Cars v0.4 and not v0.1.bman wrote:Why does it have to replace the buses though? I can't really use it because I use buses a lot.
That description appears to be out of date; perhaps if Zephyris reads this he can update it. Have you actually tried the grf in a game?bman wrote:Odd, that's what it says in the in-game content thing.
I just tried it and it doesn't replace the buses. Thanks.PaulC wrote:That description appears to be out of date; perhaps if Zephyris reads this he can update it. Have you actually tried the grf in a game?bman wrote:Odd, that's what it says in the in-game content thing.
The in-game description mentions about replacing buses and company colours, neither of which apply to the latest version - I believe this was the cause of the problem. Perhaps you could give this text an update to avoid any further confusion?Zephyris wrote:Hi all... I'm not clear what the issue is. The version in BaNaNaS is the latest (0.4) and I believe works correctly. What is the problem?
