That is the for-dummies version. You just type exactly what it says to type. Following directions is something they covered in ... What? First grade? Earlier?

The hard version is by decoding an existing town-names GRF and trying to puzzle out what all the bits and bobs mean.

I am also not a pro in programming but reached to make swisstowns.grf, its a grf with real names. I guess, its not that hard to make also those funny names. (see link on my signature)
