In multiple use, like 2 X DDAR there is only one of the two electro engines working per lok.
Due the 1800 V dc system, 3 fully accelerating loks will pull down the voltage of the catenary under neath 1000 V.
On that moment the system goes down for some seconds, till everybody takes back power needs.
