important difference: you need to be clear on whether you are discussing the depot view of the actual train, or the purchase list view of the unbought train.

Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
I always mix those up for some reason, I just call the purchase sprite the depot sprite (don't ask me why), but I was talking about the purchase sprites. Sorry for the confusion.Eddi wrote:important difference: you need to be clear on whether you are discussing the depot view of the actual train, or the purchase list view of the unbought train.

Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
It is indeed about the purchase menu. To clarify a bit more if needed:
There are some special liveries that have a small random chance of being used when building a new train. The standard liveries have a big chance of being used.
Current behaviour: the special liveries are shown in the purchase menu as soon and for as long as they are available.
Suggested change: do not ever show special liveries of a vehicle in the purchase menu, only the standard liveries. Changes of purchase menu liveries will remain for standard liveries that change over time.
Personally I'm fine either way and the codechanges are not difficult. The current concensus seems to be in favour of the change. I'll await some more opinions, if any.

Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
Once again I have to apologize for yet another delay. It seems that I've somehow "lost" some files with latest corrections on those steamers. My computer obviously played some tricks on me.
The good news is that I remember exactly what I've done to each set of sprites so the correcting process should go a little bit faster this time.

Everything on the devzone is open for public viewing. The Dutch Trains 2 project. I think in particular Issue #3952 is interesting currently.Snail wrote:Would you care about posting something here? Yeah, sorry. I figured someone who is interested will go to the devzone... Anyways, here's the complete file for non-devzone people.

Nice work!
Haha, I' not complaining, I'd just have made them differently. I guess everyone's got their style

Thanks, Voyager. Coding will unfortunately have to wait, because I'm moving house and stuff. Of course these will not be left uncoded, but you'll have to have some patience.

Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
It seems the 1200 comes in red. Any chance of adding this livery?
Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
Lol, some one was bored and made a 1200 in a NS cargo livery LOL.
Don't forget the NS cargo 1300:

Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
Please don't make them They are jokes/fictional liveries. Just like the TEE 1100 1st april joke and a blue plan V april fool.

Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
Me neither, but that picture came from an online shop that was selling model trains. Since the model exists, I assumed it must be a (obscure, short-lived) livery. Maybe someone can dig up a real picture?
Re: Dutch Trainset v2.0 being developed
I didn't found a real picture of this cargo livery.

fake liveries but some of them might be nice to add as a "Dutch Trainset Addon: Fictional Liveries?" set?
(similar to pikka's addons)
especially the Turbosprinter and Vlaflip Koploper are nice
