That's fantastic. Not only is it an awesome network, I love the honeycomb stations. Sweet effort.Rigil wrote:This is my tram network on the Cindini map

Re: Show us your network maps
I'm playing the Cindini map as well. It's awesome.
Great looking network you've got going there. How on earth did you do such a quality map though? I could never...
Edit:
My lame attempt at reproducing my Capitola Tram Network, stand of 1944.
Black lines are for suburban and Intercity rails.
Only major transfer stations are listed and no bus lines are shown.

Thanks for your answers
I did my map on Adobe Illustrator and I have a Geographic/Cartographic background so it explains my knowledge in maps
About my savegame and my map, I'm building a new line, line J. Soon on maps

Re: Show us your network maps
Having been inspired by some of the maps seen here, I decided to make my own. Obviously, the track is a bit more complex than this, and the map could use some work, but this is what I have at the moment. I'll be running cargo on it eventually, but for now, it's Pax only.

Re: Show us your network maps
In a recent game I played with CargoDist (see http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=839122#p839122), I made a little network map of the local service I built in the city of Neham.
There are the following lines:
* Intercity (Blue)
* Metro 1 (Dark Green)
* Metro 2 (Light Green)
* Tram 1 (Brown)
* Tram 2 (Yellow)
* Tram 3 (Red)
The gray stuff symbolizes a walkway connecting different parts of a station.
There are two versions of the map, one with the terrain as background, and one with white background:

Re: Show us your network maps
Here's my first Diagram: made Using Inspiration Mind Mapping Software!
Stop names in squares are Tram only
Stop names in ovals are Bus only
Stop names in octagons are Bus and Tram stops
Routes with an arrow ( -> ) indicate the direction of travel, without indicate they run both directions.
Route 1 is Trams (the thicker line)

Re: Show us your network maps
Here's a little route map for the Miami area in my southeastern US scenario. The red-line is a long distance line, yellow and green are commuter lines, and orange lines are trams:
Re: Show us your network maps
There have been some major rejigs since I uploaded my last network map in this thread (sadly only partially in the neatness and presentation department ^^").
In particular, 3 additional passenger routes have been added, and one extended; and a number of existing isolated lines have been extended and/or double tracked.
Air transit has been fixed into something sensible and included on the map too...
For the most part city stations and intra-city links have been finished, and so are now included and labelled on the diagram.
Plus lots of other small changes...

MS Visio 2003, more or less... (Not mentioning lots of mucking about and jumping through flaming hoops to get it to work as I want it to )Wasila wrote:How in the name of the Lord did you make that?

Re: Show us your network maps
I decided after a fair bit of deliberation to put together a passenger rail only schematic map of my game, as the fully detailed planning map was becoming slightly too complicated. (You can find a slightly outdated copy of that in my screenshot thread).
Anyway, attached is the fruits of my evening battle against Darth Visio.
EDIT:
Made quite a few changes, both in game and on the map... (For one you can actually read the text now...)

Re: Show us your network maps
Those maps are awesome. I did get Visio 2007 for free at the university but I did not find out how to do such a map. What kind of "chart" did you use?
